LisaAnnGreen - Thanks! And I'm glad you like the calligraphy... I love doing that stuff but feel like the audience for it is maybe small, so it's good to hear some praise for it.

Psychobuddy, Pete Hidalgo, and Mike L - Thanks guys!

NickyBeats - Thank you! Sometimes I'm really surprised at how well people tend to respond to the airbrush stuff.

As I look at these pieces again, I realize that they were produced in something of a rush and I wonder how dramatically improved they might be were I to take them to a much more finished place. They feel more like preliminary sketches or w.i.p.'s to me as I look at them now. Hrmm...

A horizontally-oriented one... and hey, she's looking almost human -- how did that happen??

Hey bud! Absolutely swooning over your 'rushed' airbrush paintings, while they may be quick, they've got great life to them, over rendering can sometimes stiffen things up, so these are great to see! I especially love the 'A Peaceful Time' painting, while the humanoid is cute, and her semi-transparent exo-suit is a wonderful blend of organic and tech, I keep getting drawn into the ethereal background, especially that ghostly hand. Wish I could add it to my personal William B. Hand gallery someday (still under construction mind you).

You're always up to something cool! I saw this guy a few pages ago and he still makes me a laugh. Hope to see more simple keyframe animation like that from you again!

Anyway, keep it up, and thanks for sharing~

witcrack - Thanks! These are all roughly 18"x24". Glad you're liking all the other denizens I've been releasing recently too! The signature is my default for airbrush paintings, and now it's become the same for my Sharpie® pics I guess.

AustenFM - I know what you mean about over-rendering... I've done that plenty, but still I feel like I'm not properly exploring levels of finish that I'm capable of. Glad you like 'em as-are, though. I do hope to do more animations... My next efforts will probably be more traditionally accomplished using Sharpie®. Cheers!

Okey dokey, this'll be my last update for today.

Carnifex - Thanks! It really has been quite a while since last I painted...

will123will, Yor, Fetsch, sipher, and Tef - Thank you all!

Velocity Kendall - Thanx! It's nice that people still respond to airbrushing. As far as doing any movie work goes, I'd love to be involved with a solid project and I'll see if I can't make that happen over the next few years.

So, here're several more Sharpie® drawings. Some have a bit of marker on there and some've been slightly tweaked in PS. See whatchya think:

It's been a bunch of months since I last posted, I guess...
Here's a dump of Sharpie® and marker drawings, and three airbrushed acrylic w.i.p.'s that'll hopefully end up looking good:
