MeteorCat: Thanks, cat!

Started up this week's CHoW! It's still a wippy WIP and I don't know if I will be able to finish it in time. But it's fun.

Update. Those keys, gotta fix those keys.

Wrap them from behind his shoulder, below the arm, to the front of the belt!
Just a thought :] Regardless, it's a great entry!
WOW So much awesomeness !!
Thanks a lot![]()
I must say, your style is really refreshing to see in an activity where too often "badass" is favored over original. The upper earrings are giving a bit of an odd first read at the moment. They're so close to the skin tone that they're beginning to read like weird circular extensions of the ear itself, rather than jewelry. Perhaps increasing contrast along the underside to really help read them as forms would be in order? Keep on being awesome. I'd love to see your stuff around COW if we ever catch your eye.

Mila: I wrapped them a bit differently, but thanks all the same!
shyamshriram: Thank YOU, sir!
Si_Swe: I'm glad you say that! I usually prefer trying out funny or weird things rather than making something that's just "cool". I actually started out my digital career in COW a couple of years ago, but grew more fond of character design over the years. Maybe I'll come back and do a piece soon!
About the earrings, you might be right. They're the first things I notice when I flip the character, and if I have time I should do something about them.
But for now, this is my final. I have to admit this one got a bit on the weird side, haha.

I found this the other day, don't think I ever posted it. These are headshots I made of our characters from a role-playing session last year. Mine was the thick-headed guy on the left.
And this is the map of another role-playing world I started making when I was DM:ing.

Dortmund is acually my favourite soccer team, hah.
Anyways, keep sharing the wowness !
Sebastian Gromann: Thanks Sebastian, I'll do my best!
A commission for a tutorial on different dwarf designs for Fantasy Artist Magazine. I was kind of rushed at the end, but hey, it turned out okay.
Heres one for an upcoming job. I'm going to illustrate Defender of the Realm later this fall, and this was a sample of style for the goldfish in the story, Noah.
I designed a company mascot for a new game developer, Fat Mayor.

Fat Mayor just looks so dandy! The pose and the barrell belly totally sell it IMO.

Fun stuff - I am a big fan!
Great work! Subscribed
Hey Jonatan being a bit of a fan of your work I would really like to get a copy, if I can, of your tutorial in Fantasy Artist mag. Do you know which month issue it is appearing in?
As always I really appreciate your kind words, guys! Hopefully I'll be able to update more often this fall - if I'm allowed to show any work before it's published, that is.
Marian Rowling: I'm glad to have you as a fan, Marian! It's in the August issue (#36). I hope it's helpful, I was unfortunately very short on time when I wrote it!
Whoa hey, what happened to this site since my last visit? Crazy, crazy stuff, that's what!
At the moment I'm very busy illustrating Defender of the Realm, so I don't know how much I'll be able to share before that's done. I'll try to post some stuff once in a while! Here are the companions you can choose from; Oonie the ostrich, Linus the lizard and Noah the goldfish:
