just discovered the animation tool in photoshop so great just had to apply it on some recent wip - good opportunity to give this thread an update



and thanks for all the awesome comments i simply love that community, ill answer them next time when i do a proper update, but have to focus on the team challenge now

Your work is so sick my mind can't handle it haha. Really though, this animation with the pulsing light in his mask is a cool touch.
Makes him look like an action figure since he's not moving but other parts of the image are. You're pretty much always going to
get that effect if you animate a part of the image but leave the figure static

Love how the latest animation glows in the helmet area, but I think the dust isn't working so well. But still, this sketchbook is just off the charts man, love it!

i totally agree, but overdoing things is how i learn new techniques when you go back a few pages you can notice when i discovered "chromatic abberation" and directly had to apply it to all new images so i will annoy everyone with cheesy animation effects on every new image until suddenly in a few weeks there will be that second of wisdom when i think "hey wait, thats crap" and from that on possibly found a way of constructively integrate it too my work hahaha just to support my point heres another 2sec anim
