Nice improvement on those acrylics! By the way, at least with oils a common way to paint is to go from dark to light and I don't see why it wouldn't work as well with acrylics. I think you started the pillar painting the right way but adding a more focused lighting could have looked more interesting... Like lighting just the top of the pillar or something. Just an opinion. But the still life and the red twisted thing look great, keep at it!

    Unhappy Slacker

    Were are some new posts!
Its been 6 days man come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude i took another stroll through your sketchbook and saw some amazing things i overlooked last time. How did you make all that game stuff. Were you using like maya, zbrush or something?
I wish i was in making games like you.
    I feel so far behind

    Yo! Check out this! http://www.myspace.com/pansyk7

These were made almost two years ago. Ive gotten much better since but i dont have a mp3 decoder so i cant post. I keep forgetting to buy one. The first is with ezdrummer when i first got it and the others were with a drumachine that i had to track each part of the drum by hand. So its off real bad with the drums. Fast forward SPAGYRIC for this cool guitar solo with spanish stuff too lol

Slappa da Bass man!!SLAPPA DAA BASSS!!

    Dude,
the picture of the pencil sketch looks bad. Either the scanner was messed up or the lighting was off when you took the picture, but that might also be the effect you created with smearing the pencil. But besides that, great sketch! YOur cross hatching shreds for hours down to the 24th fret than all the way back to f on the e string. Im also digging the colors for the band page, seems stll and mysterious right now at this stage. Keep the posts coming man!!

    Unhappy SLACKERS 101

See that man, we both been slacking. BUt i been drawing unlike yourself even though i didnt post. Dude i am still amazed by the works you have in your sketchbook as i look throughout the pages again. It just blows my mind. I really cant wait till i get to the same level as you. I have trouble with shading alot, i been using some of those smear sticks and its been helping. I really want to do crosshatching like how you do. I odered Autodesk software so hopefully i can start to train with that. I got it at a discount. Dude your band makes me want to play in a band again. I shall move over to where you are and be your third guitarist lol
Sick music though man, i might start recording some music myself(havent done it in a year or so). Loving your bass player too, amazing at what he does. I play bass to, can do some slaps lol just not like him. Stop slacking and get to work, your alot better than you think!

You have an excellent sense of color, that shows a lot in the latest posts but also in the traditional studies before.
Kudos for focusing on believable/real body builds too!

Dude look on at the end of page two of my sketchbook for the pictures i drew the past month. You should see the paintings i did. There pretty cool, not great but cool.

Two life pictures?! Come on man up the dose of awsomeness. Your pencil is jealous, it knows your having an affair with a guitar. Sweet works though man. Im going to try some more arylics as well. I been doing some oils alot
