My super cheeeeeessssyy looking ChOW entry, bleh
That Chow is so cool, man!!I really like the colors!!Maybe the hand taht is holding the apple needs a little more work, anyway is a great character! Why you don´t like it???
whoa man youve improved so much with in these pages! You should be vary proud! Love the Sleeper image you did! Keep it up brotha!
POST POST POST!
"As you may have noticed, Im not all here my self..."
Give me some love! JARheads SKETCHBOOK of DOOM!
Camara - Cheers! I wasn't keen on it because I feel it lacks design and halfway through I felt it was sorta cheesy! The hand holding the apple could definately use some work, it received so little attention compared to everything else.
JARhead - Thanks so much, people noticing my improvement spurs me on even more like a vicious cycle....but good hehe.
Still working on my own graphic novel project, and I'm still obsessed with the design of tropical beetles; hence the first image was born
Also taking part in this weeks ChOW, threw some quick lines over a thumbnail to make the foundations of my piece.
Here it is finished, bleh![]()
Great color in the last one.In my opinion, the best is the light on his back!
yeah man, your development is awesome!
i really like your latest chow - my fav bit is the girls feet coz it really makes her feel as if shes got half her body weight on her toes and half on him - its just right...
the colours are, also, supreme! the light through her dress man!!
Camara - Cheers mate, glad you like it. I was aiming for a really desaturated picture with hints of saturation scattered through it...but it eventually evolved into the vibrant image I usually make - not that easy to change it up some times!
strybjorn - Thanks! The feet are one of my favourite areas too.
I choose a different way to warm up todayAbout an hours work.
Something I started today but got bored with, don't know if I'll finish it. Some digital scraps and my rendition of a guilty pleasure of mine - naruto![]()
*Sigh* Not pleased with any of today's efforts.
nice work man...ur colour is very cool ..great stuff in here!
Dan Valkar - Thanks!
A little colour picking practice before bed. Night all, my eyelids are falling down.
Jens - You're spot on, thanks for the crit! I decided to act on it and actually try a master study (my first)
So yeah, here's today's first attempt at a master study. I think I put too much of my bright colour choices in this (i tried to copy the original, honest!) and certain stuff is off. Instead of working some more on this one I'll make another one tomorrow, this was really fun.![]()
another, 20 mins before bed. Nunight!
I haven't stopped by in a while, but there's some amazing improvement here. You're getting a really good sense of color, and the last two.... if the first one was a Caravaggio, then you nailed it(even if it's not, you captured the mood, which is awesome by itself). Great job.

Chromosome - Yeah it's a Caravaggio, so pleased I managed to get at least some of the right feelReally encouraging, thanks mate
As for as I'm going to go with this, I may well attempt another because this one was really fun
Bit off more than I could chew today......hmm yeah, what an understatement. Anyway here's today's, I felt like crying halfway through this ordeal! Oh well, more work on it tomorrow then I suppose, fun fun.
Larry David rocks man!
Probably the best I can do with this, it was fun ...in a masochistic way haha
Great work!!!!Those master studies are fantastic!!!Encouraged me to do some of them!!What is a good place to find master pieces to do some studies?
Big improvement lately! That last one is full of goodness!
Camara - Cheers, i found some at the National Gallery website (they have watermarks though) google and some on flickr, quite hard to get good sized ones actually.
Sketch - Thanks!
bravo on that coloring job! your work is so lush. if michelangelo had a wacom board... I think his stuff would look a lot like yours.
zeitgeist - thanks for stopping by.
Here's a warmup sketch I probably spent too much time on. My computer then proceeded to crash...
my favorite picture is the one you did for chow #94!!! keep it up!
nice updates man, keep it up!
Rockin book you have here. Those last few master studies and the CHOW entries... very cool. I would try to give a poignant critique but I'm still a bit taken back by the studies.
Keep on rockin,

My Sketch Book - Old Book
Fresh Start
man, so many good stuff here,I will check it out often.
In a hurry at the moment so I'll reply next time, for the time being have the only sketch from my Sweden holiday last month. A little girl stared at us the whole journey, she was really cute like a Moomins character.
Great sketch book I like the way you use color so saturated.
Keep it Up!
