agreeing w/ troll. *screaming* USE BLANK PAPER

some places will want to see gesture drawings for part of an interview or portfolio (assuming you are putting one together) and I think they might laugh if they see these, but only because it's on a lined notebook. good practice just the same but it does nothing for your portfolio

Really nice sketchbook!! How much do you work from life, reference and imagination? I think your pages are fantastic. What 'finished' work do you produce?
Will keep an admiring eye on this thread!

Awesome studies! Very inventive sketches, and I like where you're going with that last colored piece.

Misteh: thank you, glad you like it

    Zombie_dla: thanks, i will

WolfBane: im 18, turning 19 on the 14th

sketcheth: heh, im not 15, it should say 18 on my profile, i hope

Phil Moss: i do slightly more work from imagination than from life, but not much more because i try to keep things balanced. as for finished work, i think i've only finnished a handfull of pictures in my entire life. here is one from i think a month ago, its done from ref, and took a very long time

    shidoken: thanks!

_andreas_: thanks, maby some more tentacles next time around

Pyroclasm00: some of those studies are from a Burne Hogarth book, the rest are from porn

iMaiM: thanks, im trying to do more colored stuff

suhsealyuh: i try to use as little reference as possible, so none most of the time when i draw from my head. i draw alot because i have no social life

    mrpank: thank you!

Wonderful work mate! Love where youre going with the imagination and pencils!
Im digging the teen challenge piece too, got nice form and colours goin on, though the composition in real flat and uninvolving, the two characters arrent really interacting, hope you finish it up some more. Love the design of the ogre, its real fun and got a great sense with the materials.
I see you in Toronto, are you attending any of the colleges/universities round here, or plan on in the future?
