You're making great strides, dude, keep going. Draw constantly and you're just going to get better all the time. Good studies in here and the stuff drawn from life is particularly helpful and well done.

Thanks for the motivating words Piranha Clan. I'll try my best to constantly draw, though it's not always simple to do.

Head studies; from Hogarths and some faces of the internet. It's annoying to get the same feeling as it's from a picture, it's also hard to understand the form of the head. I really should do some real life drawing.

Holy... it's terrible hot here. Anyway, glad I was free from school today, so i could avoid the heat, but also to draw again. I draw hardly when I'm going to school. Enough ranting, here's some quick studies:

PS: here's the photo I drew the last drawing from: Photo

z2ll203: Thanks for your reply! Speaking of perspective, did'nt do that for a while. Maybe later this week for a change.

This time more muscle studies then head studies. Head studies are from a cloth catalog.

Some quick sketches I did yesterday. First one is made in the train from life with a bit of perspective focusing. Second one is a quick thumbnail for a comic of mine.

I got a free day and what is Whitevillage going to do then? Right, to draw!

    Drawings are from references:

Thanks Piranha! I find Hogarth very good to learn from, even I was first sceptic how some of his exaggerated anatomy looks. Now I understand it's better to understand for learning.

Thanks Ravenslayer for the bookmark! Good luck with the progress of your monsters.

Decided to do some quick leg studies from Bridgeman before i'm going to study for my science tests.

Thanks for your comment Aerethos. Happy leg drawing!

Quick environment sketches with photo's used for reference. I want to get a better grasp at composition and building design before i'm attempting detailed environments of my own. Well, those are the last for today...

Little Hogarth study I did tonight. As you can see, I was not really motivated but I think pushing your self sometimes is a good thing.

Nice sketches. Looks like you got some mix of styles, try to balance that mix a bit more to create an unique style.

You are already on the right track, but try to keep studying perspectives, and muscle anatomy.

Hey thanks for the comment DeJakhalz. I'm busy with practing to be more versatile, balancing seems to be hard at times, so I study to broading my artistic horizon. And your suggestion has been noted.

    Doodles 'n studies...

Thanks Nquyet, I certainly don't want to stop. I'm glad I got so much time on my hands from now on.

Head study done from Mentler's 'The book of bones' topic.

Muscle studies from an unknown artist (at least to me) from fineart.sk

Started to do a simple perspective study again for refreshing my perspective sense of drawing, only I did'nt had much inspiration so I think it's really simple. At least it's something. I wonder what good perspective excersises are from mind.

It seems this sketch book is daily. I could'nt imagine that when I look from my posts that dates from February. Glad I have the time to draw!

Life drawing; our cat sleeping in our couch. Shading could have been better next time.

Some various stuff, from mind and a bit from reference. Had most fun with the deltoids which I think came well from mind. The left head is from a Japanese Tengu statue. I love that angry expression.

Eye lid study from mind. I tried to draw different looking directions from the same angel. I like to have some critique and pointers for these especially.
