I don´t come foreward with this pic, maybe you can say what bothers you most.
Please note that the lines on the creatures are not mine, I can´t make big changes on the anatomy.

I like the creature itself. especially the head of it. it reminds me of a griffin or a horse. but the little bird type things seem a bit out of place. overall, it's pretty cool. good job.
Thanks.
The birdies in the middle have to be there, but I think I´ll make them brown, yellow is too bright.
I´m not sure about the birds in the foreground thought :/.
yes, yellow seems a bit bright. and if you are keeping the ones in the middle, you might want to keep the ones in the foreground as well, so all the attention wont be drawn to one part of the picture.
I`m finished with this pic. I´m not entirley happy with the rocks but I don´t know how to make them look better :/.
Do you have any other crits for the next pictures?

I really like the horse/griffin thing - the red against the minimal white background looks great. In fact, I think it looked better before you added the stripes - the simpler colouring seemed to work better - but that's just my opinion.
As far as the birds go, I'm still not sure about the yellow. The red of the beast looks so good against the white, and I can't help but think the yellow of the birds distracts from that a little bit rather than complimenting it. Maybe they could have been a similar shade to the scary horse thing?
The composition is dull. Try cropping it down in different ways to see if you can get a more dramatic arrangement of shapes within the rectangle.
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.

As seedling said the composition isn't helping it but I also don't like the perfect roundness of the rocks, I can see your going for the old style japanese ink paintings but it isn't working with this one....
