I will draw irregardless. Updated July 26 (what? I am alive?)

Check the last page for new stuff!

We had a project where we had to do characters from children's stories. These are from the Sausage the Mouse and the Bird in which they all die in the end so I made them really cute. Pencils and illustrator.

This is from the same project, some sketchy paintings of George from George and the Dragon.

So yeah, hi, I'm new! I'll post more later . . . I have to go to work now.

Watercolor character sketches. I wanted to concentrate on expression and motion with these.

Character turn around project, we had to remake characters from history or myth. So this is Merlin (as in King Arthur's Merlin) in the future in space . . . and Percival.

Icon project, inspired by the egyptian gods.

These are characters I'm working on for a comic project. I still want to work on them, adjust colors, especially skintone. I think I had the most fun making expressions for them.

themissinglink: Thanks a lot for the comment!

Hurricane: Thanks! I looked at your stuff, very cool.

As for me, it was a very lazy day, just sketched a bit (and played with oil paint but its very wet and half done so it'll have to wait).

Naomiful: Thanks! I really enjoyed doing the sausage, I get to make spreads for those characters next. ^^

xxEnder: Thanks for the comment. Now if only I could improve photoshop . . .

And on that note, some stuff for an environment project. CC would be WELCOME, I'd be happy for any advice you could give me.

The first is a view of the city wall, the second is the town square, festival sort of scene. I've got some others but they're still sketches yet so these will have to do for now.

Hah, irregardless is definitely my favorite non-word.
Anyway, really nice textures on these latest japanese inspired pieces. Great patterns on all the clothing, I think the on the bottom right of this one works really well. Nice work on the PS environments, my crit would be that they lack a strong focal point, something interesting that draws the eye in first.
Great start to your thread, keep crack-a-lackin.

Thanks Andy P. for the crit, I'll try to work on that, still a couple days till they're due . . .

As for today, time for some Illustrator Magic!

The Sausage the Mouse and the Bird again in their death scenes! Oh noes!

Super cool style here. I love the graphic look to these latest ones (and earliest ones too). And something I just love about the watercolor sketch of the girl slipping. Keep it up.

    heyyy whats up,
your drawings are full of personality and i really like the colors you use on your characters, thanks for coming to my sb
one crit i could give you is that you should try to use some bigger brushes in your paintings, not too much small strokes. hope it can help you

WhiteC: I'll give that a try. I honestly haven't done a whole lot of painting in photoshop, most of my painting experiance is traditional and . . . in watercolor.

So yeah a lot of this stuff was very new ^^'

Anyway, bigger brushes, I shall give it a go.

    Also a wip.
