Slav: Thanks man, i could go for a A&W just about now....
toastertoaster: Thanks
Forgot bout this piece. It's for my Figure Modeling Class homework. Basically, this was our only homework for the class; been doing so much charcoal drawings, i almost forgot the digital realm still exist! Anywho, we had to create an original character and present it, then our teacher made us sculpt the head. That reminds me, my sculpture is still in the freaking kelm!!! Anyways, for my presentation, i did 16x20 charcoal mock ups and i printed this piece out on 40"x60" canvas, it looked pretty awesome....

I loved the stuff that I could see, but for some reason your images take a really long time to load. Are you using the attachment manager when you upload your stuff or are you using an outside place to host your files?
Anyways you made me a fan of Bouguereau and from what I saw you have a very nice asthetic. I'll check back later...maybe the problem is my internet.
VenustusVis. Thanks, the images are pretty big, indeed, sorry. Im glad you like Bouguereau's style as well.
wow 40"x60" ! i betcha hung that in your room haha SHAZAM!
get that sculpture already![]()
save me with your crits!
Aw dude, your back- and with some beautiful work! I love the studies on grey-ish paper with red line; theres a lovely fluidity within your quick studies, which is always a joy for me to see in other people. Capturing the body in such quick time makes you appreciate it more and its complexities. The longer studies are good too,my only crit would be to blend the line strokes in the background more when using charcoal..
I really look forward to seeing what you produce from your next semester!
Happy New Year!
Mx
Great work Gue! Now you must put some more stuff up ASAP.
Very nice studies!!!!!! I think I saw you on Monday, Henry Yan's workshop. Are you in illustration?
Do you wanna come to Dr. Sketchy workshop? People say it's fun.

Molly : Thanks Molly. Your right, quickstudies are more rewarding
Shaddix1980: Thanks, will update ASAP
Nadiamoon :Might have seen you during the first couple of weeks there.

awesome figure work
nice characters too! they do seem to lack the energy your figure work has but still nice concepts!
keep updating!
wow! wow that your back and wow at the improvements from your old posts. not that I didn't expect you to improve a lot, you seemed to have a real "I'm gunna draw till my hands fall of!" type attitude towards your work ethic...
nice to see your stuff again.
long time no see you matte!!! damn i blink my eyes and BANG u improve sooo much, hehehe im really happy for you man, for even more further now. hope to see you more often now ^^ keep it up
wicked updates. keep on sharing is what i say. btw, you ever try harvey's? i had a burger last sunday. i think i am still feelin it. 3 1/4oz patties and 3 strips of bacon with everything on it. it was the shit.
Incredible posts, excellent rendering and anatomy, your inspirational man. Seriously keep posting. Love your style
Those are really cool!!
Hey, nice figure drawing sketches. We're in one class now, hah?kewllll
Holy shit, this sketchbook just blows me away.
dadushin:Thanks. Yeah, figure studies are much easier cause you got a live model right in front of you so your drawings are much more accurate while imaginative work can sometimes lack that.
speedysam267: Yeah, school helped a lot with my tradition skills, so I kind of leveled up a bit this year. Yeah, i take art very seriously, go to every workshop, draw every day. That's what chu gonna have to do to improve over everyone else.
Call0ps: ha, thanks. Improvements happens fast if you work hard.
Slav: thanks. Yeah i heard of harvey's never been to one, though...
king_scribbles: Thank you. Im glad I could help you out.
FlameDragon Thanks, man.
Nadiamoon: thanks, nadia. Yeah we are in the same class, huh? wow.
algenpfleger Wow, thanks, but i need to practice more to realy blow you away.
Just some sketchs for practice before school starts. I have life studies too but i need a camera. damn. anyways will post those laters.

Great sketchbook!
You have really good anatomy skills, you can draw hands, feets, body and head/face at the same quality level!
Keep study faces nevertheless, try to create some emotions and different types of characters (fat, skinny, bad etc.)
Xaya:thankyou. I think faces are the easiest, i understand them completely in terms of structure and ethicnic group etc, but yea, i should explore even more. I just hate drawing things that are not beautiful, if you know what i mean...

The new stuff is great Gue.
Is it me or is your stuff getting more bold and edger then what I saw you do at City? Starting to remind me of Joe Madureira, which is awesome...namely the lion dude.
Really great stuff, I cant stop staring. its inspirational!
Great sketchbook, I live your dynamic line
I'll be updating soon on that last line drawing in photoshop with colors in all.
Shaddix1980: Thanks, bro. Yea, the life drawing classes helped my lines out a lot, i mean a lot. I'm starting to be more confident, being decisive of my light and dark lines. I hope things are going well on your side, best of luck.
berf: thanks. I glad that it inspires.
Towarlock: Ty, i try to keep things in perspective and not normal.
Some life drawing from workshop today. 10 min each.
