Very good start to a Sketchbook. I am also a fan of Massive Black artists. You should check out Marko Djurdjevic's work also. Youve got some great rendering and proportion skills. Cant wait for more.

Alright, i know this ain't a sketch, but I feel like posting it for critique. And since this is the only thread i have currently, i'll put it here.
This is a Bouguereau MC painting that I've been working on forever now...because for one; it damn hard to do MCs, everyone knows that; and two; im lazy. I like Bouguereau's stuff very much cause of his oils; they're almost photo/virtual realistic! Plus all his drawings have feets(feets are killer). Also, his models and girls kinda have a anime feeling to it.... Here's the painting wip in PS and the line art for it.

As you can see, i've only got some of the head and shirt down. It looks decent now, but if you compare it to the original, mine's a stick figure. Here's the link to the original.

Cool, Your paint well. You should finish that painting, I do not have much critique since I do not paint much as of yet. Good Job and be sure to keep it up!
Great stuff, you can really bring life with values, it's amazing, keep posting!
rely good stuff in here, pencils look great and you have an ample knowledge of anatomy. Like it a lot.
I'd love some constructive criticism : my sketchbook TY for taking the time
Let's all just be friends and chill the f*** out, k ?
robmorfin: thanks. Values are crazy, i know.
cotletan: Thank you. I'm still trying to work on anatomy.
Ok Update for today.
A sketch i did in 3d modeling class.
Another hand/arm thingy, i love em. Done in PS with my favorite texture brush.

good stuff kurado! the latest stuff is pretty ass kickin
Looking good Gue. I still like your photoshop stuff the best, but this stuff is looking nice. I would rather see you start to develop your own style of pencil work over working from Wes Burt's style. I don't think it adapts as nicely to your primary style.....
Keep the work up bud.

Oops, my reply was under a different user name. Damn Lab...

Yeah, man, i totally agree with you on the sketching/ pencils/style thingy. I use Wes's art for inspiration but not for bitting. You can tell some of it looks similar to Wes's, yeah i know, but i take it more of a "I'm copying him for a learning reason", not a bitting deviant art reason, ya know?
So, yeah, your're totally right. I'll keep trying to improve. Thanks.
dammit, that scan turned out horrible. Does anyone know how to make the scan look closer to the original sketch. Is it the lighting? Maybe i should just take a pic of it.
