From a model, 1 hr the first, 1.5 hr the second.
From a model, 1 hr the first, 1.5 hr the second.
Jumped into a different class -Figure drawing class, had a hard time with the quicksketches (10 min), then the last one 2 hrs.
back to my tonal dwg class, now I know better how to draw faster, 10 min. quicksketches & 2 hrs. figure dwg. (very hard to draw model).
Quick sketches, 5 min. each, some of the smaller one are 3 min., I'm very happy with the results.
This Sunday is my last Tonal Drawing Class + one Figure drawing class, I will post after that.
Some tree trunks
More tree trunks.
Wow, it's been more than a month and I haven't posted or even drawn anything, too busy at work, will try to start again.
Finished my two classes from the Watts, now I have to implement that in my previous enviros.
Here are few more from the classes made with the Wacom (couldn't finish them in the 3 hours).
Another sketch for the unfinished collection, here I was trying to create the Solomon's temple for the EOW #58, have to finish it later.
I just realized I haven't uploaded any pictures of the oil paints from my class, I will take pictures & upload them soon.
Oil Paintings from the class. (the second painting was made on top of another paint, I forgot to buy the canvas, that's why there's a weird texture on it)

This one is for the EOW#61 "miniature city", it's suppossed to be a Bread city - house of mouses has been the main atraction of the atlantean zoo, being the only non-oceanic animals in it, the oxygen is directly extracted from the water into the box to maintain them alive.
The deadline was way past, but it was still open and I was trying to revive the EOW (there were only 2 entries), I hope I still have some more time to add more detail, we'll see.
Final, added textures, mouses, stairs, few more shadows, more color to the atlantean boy.
Thumbnails for the EOW#62 "Noah's Ark last resting place".
Learning to create Mountains.
decent body of work there, I liked the techniques you used to form your perpective for the city plans.
Some of the speed figure sketches are off, understanably, I think it's a case of getting a foruma for figuring out the proportions for human anatomy.
Thanks, Pattern and you are right in regards to the anatomy, need to practice more to get the hang of it.
Thanks.
Rob.
WIP for the EOW #63 Dark Fairie Ghetto, I think I'll get rid of the fairy in the center and add a couple in the middleground.
And I think I am going to create a Value study before I continue with the painting stage...
updated the Dark Fairie Ghetto, I still need to add shadows, I don't know how to make the paining better, I'm also going to add a light, I think the whole piece is too blurry, I'll keep trying.
Final Image for the EOW, still very blurry.
"Hidden in the woods, accessed through a cave infested with killer bats lies the home of the meanest fairies, they all gave away their soul to the Stone God, whose sculpture is located in the middle of their town where they have dark parties every night to present their offerings and kill them."
Some sketches from the drawing classes from 2 months ago that I had forgotten to post.
Napking sketch for the EOW#69 "The restaurant at the end of the universe".
Update, happy about the background, still need to design the building.
Original sketch for restaurant, couldn't add so much detail to the final image, the perspective is not off, it is a 2 point persp. of a structure with an imaginary diamond shape floorplan, that's why it looks kind of odd.
My bad, the perspective is a little bit off on the left side gray part of the structure (on the final image, in the sketch it's fine).
Update it some more, thanks to Corick for the advice.
