kawakaze, I was using for most of the sketches 8B lead, I switched to 3B because I felt they were too dirty, and you are right but I never noticed, some of the sketches here were done with 2H and I really liked all the detail I could have with it (I stopped because it took me a long time drawing), now you open my eyes, I should combine them, maybe start the overall with quick wide strokes(2B) and then detail it with HB & 2H. Thanks for your kind words about my compositions, I will try to add more detail, although I have been trying to learn how to draw faster, but now I am comfortable with trying to add more detail, and definetily I am going to start playing with tones, I think I am going to practice with some figure drawing from Loomis, everybody seems to agree that the best way to learn to draw and to understand tones, volumes & lighting is by drawing the figure, I am going to give it a try.
