    Pure narcotic

Hy there, i'm new at CA and love it. It's inspiring and fun. Must say i rediscovered my heart lies with sci-fi and fantasie. Last 3 weeks i'm only making fantasie stuff, my regular work is suffering a bit from it. But hey, life's short.

    Mazzel, Tom.

I really like the line work and the characters - in your digitals the colour/light needs work, as you often seems to have neglected light perspective and the light atmosphere ~ some of the digitals in the middle also feel very blurry.

That said your monsters in #5 are lovely, the digital portraits works great and the zombie is hot

& The potential for your digital pieces once you look into more colour studies is frightening - for example besides the issues I've mentioned your 2nd and 3rd digital inspiring.

Anyway just my two cents, good luck and have fun - and I'll return for the evolution

Thanks for the advice Dan, i'm studying on the colour issue. Although studying isn't my greatest hobby, rather make another monster, spaceship fantasie-thing

good job, tom, very nice lines, and i love the portraits of michael jackson and robbie williams hahah. but i think your images lack a consistent light source. i would suggest you study some lighted geometric shapes to understand lightning and how it affects planes.

but appart from that you made a very good start!!!!! what is your background in art? and how old are u?

    keep it up!!

My use off colours and lightning need some study, i'm gonna work on that. I haven't had a real artstudy, just had some talent and luck and kept on drawing. At this point i'm drawing cartoons, commics and karikatures for a living, like the attatcht one. Look for more on my website www.thecartoonfactory.nl. My age?...old.

linework looks real good. colours look very digital. i think you could use a more limited palette, while at the same time using more variety in colours when you go from light to midtone to dark. but i'm definitely not an expert in colour theory, so take that for what it is...

edit - the colours in the first one of your last post looks real good though...

    keep it coming man.

So less colours but more variety in them, that makes sence. Also not to highlite everything equaly, one of the thing i tried to keep in mind while making the horned warrior.
    Thanks for the comment Tensai!

LOL awsome Michael Jackson characteur!! I like the bright and vibrant colours you've used in many of these. And your sketches are made up of nice simple strokes, works well.

I can understand the notion that you'd rather draw your own stuff then studies

anyway damn you have laid down quite some updates since I last visited - good stuff, and keep applying your fire to the DSG!

Awsome work yo, there's some pretty crazy stuff in here.
You might want to try some different brushes and opacities and experiment with hard and soft shadows/highlights and crisper tonal contrasts.

Other than that, amazing work keep it up!!
As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle being swept along is no longer enough.
