    Remarkable improvement! I guess that's everyone's say.
Yet I do impressed by your range of experimenting with different subjects, which makes you progress rapidly. I love you line work in ID stuff(or not?), especially the last post of environment in #212. I am also wondering how did you draw those smooth curve in #221 in digital , is there any tip?

    Keep it up!!

UnSharpened, my 'smooth' lines in post 221 was just with the standard round brush in PS with dynamics pressure. all standard stuff

i've been busy working and no time for drawing. all time i have im drawing industrial design stuff. i want to learn and get better in designs. anyone has a tip?

small update some faces just for fun nothing special, i like drawing with ballpointpen lately.

    bye

A tip? Go join IDW I think you would do great there.

How did the underlay work out for you? If you need help with it just let me know.

Oh, and great sketchbook you've got going on here. I'd swear I've posted in here before but it seems I didn't. Somehow I like those tree designs on the previous page, along with the color study of the fish

yoitisi: he guido, thanks, maybe i will do that sometime.

well, i havent posted for a while. reason for this is that i was totally uninspired and only lurking at all the great artists out there. so i decided to step back and actually dont look for a while at others and concentrate more about what i want. so i decided to draw a lot more from life/photo. i did some self portraits and really frustrated me, but in the end it worked out. i will post them soon. i even drawn at a coffeeshop just stuff and interior. i really learn that its import to squeeze you eyes and see the overall values..

here is a landscape from photoref.

    i like it!
But that ref of the sunset(sunrise?) looks fine but it painted it as if it was verrry pixelly.
Maybe don't use a square brush so much , or maybe use it but blend with a more softer brush.

    update

i took the last sketch to the next level. i had this vision in my mind of the kid having an encounter with an alien. i was a little bit inspired by leo snow's awesome paintings with rimlights

i got 2 versions, the low version is how intended it. then i was messin around with layer options and the above one i really liked. what do you guys think looks best?

    Hi there!

You've got a very nice sketchbook, Teh Gosu.
About the last posting, I like the one above the most. That alien, with that really big head, looks awesome.

    Keep posting!

I really like the first one here. In an earlier post you had some similar drawings under the heading of "old drawings". I really like these. Your use of line is very nice and full of energy. I also enjoy the first piece in your first post. Very nice work, I can't wait to see more.

    Hard working man, respect.
I see the potential of the latest post, maybe there can be some back light reflecting on the dark side of him. Or even a different colour of light source, cold blue? e.g. which I think is a good match to your basic tone (brown-yellow, warm).

    Keep it coming!!
