Nice updates Teh Gosu, no crits just keep them coming. Try some finished pieces too.
Lyno:ill try to do that thanks you
darkenuf:haha, well now you say it.. i just started some abstract shapes and it kinda looked like a squid so i made it a squid it would be cool indeed to have it have the gun in his teenticale
clay models done for school. its a design for a camera. the above model is done withouth looking and only feeling the shape, so it feels good in hand. The middle one is an abstraction of the above. the abstraction is used to make a camera design, inspired on the abstracted shape

those perspective studies are neeeeeeat, and i'm lovin the squid pimp
keep 'em coming, still watching
ciao!
Man, nice progress. When I was looking at the beginning of your sketchbook I was going to say, you are especially good at environments. But now, you are doing great at characters too, your skills have improved. Good job.
~JB
these recent pen and marker designs look great! perspective and this kind of tech-design seems to be your strong suit. I'd like to see one of these little environment thumbs taking to bigger scale.
oh and I love the girls torso study on the last page. your colors are getting really good!
m0uS3r:thanks for spreading the love around, mateill keep an eye at your sketchbook
TheGnoll: thanks for the lovei look really forward at doing this cooperative painting thing
you're skyrocketing big time yourself in yur sb man, cya
JustinBeckett:thanks man, you got a pretty bad ass sb, so its a big compliment
monotony:hey man, thanks, do you mean the white+green drawings? well, they were professional drawings, for an urban design company in holland, and the were used as you see them in my sb. they are ment to be sketchy.. hahah but thanks anyway![]()
here is something i did just for fun, pretty long process before i called this one finished...took me partially 3 days i think... some guys at the critiquecenter gave me some input about what to put in that guys handhere you can see that thread: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho....php?p=2080240

crap your enviros look good
thanks mouse
revisit of an precious piece, i saw all these complications, i thought this piece would be stronger if i simplify things... i hope i succeeded. I also changed all these little tiny stuff
here i depict a new dutch word: zwaffelen

Yeah, cool way of drawing faces, should try that too. Looks like fun.

Lyno: it is fun indeedim enjoying it
Hive_minD: thanks buddy!
terrible design lol.. some expirimenting

man sryously, how your SB can have the same rating as mine is beyong me. You are way above, I could ramble about how your improvement is inspiring and such, but I just leave it at the comment that you are one of the artists that is actually moving forward. And that's a skill not much artists have, even on this site. So yeah, your environments are great, your design are solid and original but the shit that make me jizz is simple stuff like this: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1230918970 Damn your scetching-style is dope, along with your composition skills! Subscrizord'!
you are a true![]()

thanks faust
Me and The Gnoll had this idea of doing a coop-sketch/painting session, where we would paint eachothers sketch. subject is a creature. so this is my entry, looking forward at his design

It took me three days to navigate your sketchbook...amazing, very methodical and coordinated effort, it's really paying off, you seem to handle well both a cartoon and a realistic look (this is definitely improving), your environment and architectural skills were awesome since the first pages.
I'm wondering...how do you set your exercise routine?
Sweet stuff, man! I really like your color studies and enviros. Very nice. Im a little jealous actually, but in a good way. I'll definitely try harder with my own color studies. Thanks for sharing. You may continue.
vette shit man. keep em comin![]()
MeTaL-Mike: thanks dude, i will keep em comin
Christoffer: thanks for letting me continuecolors are difficult, but most important are values, if values are wrong, nevermind colors, it will still suck
Mr. Smilethanks for the post, well, i answer this question beneath![]()
GaussianRaider: my excersise routine? haha, well ummmmm, mostly i just look at a loooot of art on websites or in musea, and i just find certain things very interesting to look at and i am thinking about what they are doing and what i am not..everytime i start drawing i always end up doing something i didnt intent to do ;P my filosophy however is very much understand what is the essence of a beautifull picture.. in other words, less is more. im really convinced of this... absract art can kick ass too because of this.. but anyways, i still have a long way to go. i dunno if i answerd yur question lol good luck with yur art ill drop by sometime
these are conceptdrawings and last 2 the conceptdesigns of a vacuumcleaner. first design had to have influence of art nouveau (my interpretation was reference to nature) but still commercial. the other was a design for children, pretty absurd actuallybut i like the endresult of that one
EDIT: these were my first designs of the art nouveau vacuumcleaner, the teacher said that it was too much graphic design and less form design...
