I like the one with the pigeon pooing, that's gross.

I lost my stylus so I'm kind of dead in the water right now...scary. Losing one of those sets me back $50....it's a huge sign I need to start getting paid more for comissions....

The first idea is wonderful, I love guys with long dark hair, but weird pecs...might want to use a little reference there next time, they don't dip quite that far into an extreme angle as you have them there...

The woman's right armis overly rounded as well, on t he top there, and there's no anatomically correct way that it could wrap around that far from where her head is, although, being a spirit I know she can be a little disjointed.

    Nice colors, too.

The alien would look so cool if it wern't for that silly grill grin on his face, wipe that off and you've got a winner for me

Mace girl is cool, I like the tattoo....

    Welcome back!

Heyhey, I think you've taken a good route with the natural aspects of your images, so you can really study things while doing them.

I see progress here, and I am sure it will keep on coming.

Right now I feel like your traditional stuff+b/w digis are nice, and I suggest you keep working B/W alot, it'll teach you the most important things for shapes and such.

    Keep it up!

Nice SB you got going here.

For more focus, you could add more value and contrast. Add sum bg. Or duplicate the layer, blurr it and then erase part of the blurred layer. I´ve seen this in one of the vid tuts from massive black. Cool and easy effect for sumthing like that.

    Really fast mock up:

Keep it up. I´ll b back.

It´s a nice sketch. But his forehead is much too small. Looks like an imbecile.
You should redo it. Also the plate on his head looks kinda warped. But the main problem is the samll head. And don´t forget that the helmet adds to the head size. Even if it´s only a small cap worn beneath the real helmet.
here´s a fast paint over again to illustrate.

Btw, I really like the space elda in the post from the 13th of may

    DSG 1376 No Return

@bbwolf, yes your are rigth, thank you for the overpaint. but in my opinion the head is alot too big, the helmet (psimatrix) i made of heavy adamantium,
the face schould be more smaller to show how heavy his amour is.
i will redo it to show you what i think, but today its time for a small dsg:

A FEW YOUNG KIDS WATCHING THE COOL CONSTRUCTION MECHS FROM A-FAR
<i want to Draw a dramatic Szene, my idea was to show the stunning moment when the Mech crushes everything they ever got.
And they know, there will be no return>

    Hiya Beast!
Love the sense of doom and determination in that last post.
Only crit would be maybe it would enhance the picture if we see some glow
from the fires or energy blasts of the mechs.
    Looking forward to seeing more!

    Hey Beast

Looking at some WH refs I gotta agree. I think the proportions are pretty sound but in relevance to a WH Spacemarine armor it is too big.

Nice DSG. MAybe I´ll be able to crank one out today too. But prolly will post tomorrow. Yesterday was tooooooo busy watching the EM semi finals.

I like that you use perspective in this image. I bet that will always help make concept art more realistic and grounded. I would have the buildings correspond to the heights of the foreground figures more proportionally, though, and maybe have them recede to a central vanishing point more distinctly.
