Love how the Goat Guy looks like he's very unimpressed with something the viewer did. Keep up the good work (while not neglecting your studies, of course)

nice sketchbook! you seem to be improving through the course of it.

as far as your most recent painting, i think it looks flat. the fact that it is hard to see the ground and horizon line doesnt help, but i think the biggest problem with it is the contrast. contrast is highest in the foreground usually (so the darkest darks and lightest lights should be closest to the viewer, and as things head back towards the horizon they loose thier contrast and saturation.

Really good and varied stuff in here some of your charaters are just sick (in a good way) also like your studies for the anatomy and gestures and would love to see some more of those! Keep on rocking!

Mein Gott! This is a way awesome sketchbook.. Haven't read it all yet, but what I've seen so far is very nice.. good drawing/design skills and nice painting skills as well..

If I had to give this one (which I really like btw) some crits it would be: hands hands hands...

first guys right hand needs work. I have difficulties seeing which pose it has, and if it has the one I think it has I don't think it's a very plausible one for a hand that's not holding anything.

second guy just needs overall perspective and7or proportion work on his fingers

Third guys hands are inconsistent in line and design. His left hand is somewhat naturalistic in design, whereas the other one is way more stylized.. I'd pick just one

Other than that I'm subscribing and 5* ing this thread, because it totally deserves it.

    Excellent sketchbook Senoir!

Good to see some more stylised works on here.

Nice eccentric characters. Loving the guy at #241. (the 'titana' piece is also pretty sweet)

I read your signature and I'd love to have you come tear my sketchbook apart but I really don't think I could write anything that you didn't already know in return, lol. Your figure drawings a few pages back have great proportions, structure, and rhythm. Your work looks pro, I'm not quite at that level yet. Just for the sake of criticism (since you're requesting it), it seems like your more recent figures are lacking in visual structure. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination (and it very well may be) but it seems like the anatomical structure (as in, the way that the masses fit together) has been suffering in your recent paintings and sketches, at least compared to your older sketches. Maybe you're just more concerned with other things, I don't know. I think it could help your drawings look more solid if you emphasized the structure a bit more. Really great sketchbook sir.

-snootchy: Thanks a lot man, studies are going so so, but what can I do, Grammar is not that funny.
-Crow: Yeah, I should finish that one, thanks for stopping by.
    -sourgasm: Thanks!!
-avocado: Oh man, you were so right I had to take it down. Applying the atmospheric perspective was sort of difficult. Hopefully Ill post it again. Thanks a lot, your critique was amazingly accurated.
-latigid: Yeah, I should put (and do more studies). Thanks for stopping by.
-Softskin: Agreed, exept in the second character (that is too cartoony to mind). I should check way more on that. Boy! hands are difficult! Thanks a lot, your critique it was very detailed. And very constructive.
-Kambei Shimada: Thanks, I also think that Titania even if was done a while back is still one of my best. Thanks for checking my sb so carefully!
-ZhouPeng: Cheers! But I didn't get the part were you said "Denmark, a homeland of the beautiful stories". Anyway, thanks a lot for stopping.
liujie: I'll keep 'em comming, you do the same mister!
-Sir Cam: Amazing critique you send me by PM. Thanks a lot!

This is a WIP. I need to correct the simmetry after I flip the canvas, that is what I'm missing at this point.

Those material studies on the last page were incredible and already the figures you drew on literature lectures in page 5 showed some great grasp of anatomy IMO. Seems to me like you're very good at conjuring up believable looking stuff from your head all in all. The colored figures on the last page have great drapery and cloth designs but the gloss and the coloring with a lean towards black and white in shadows and highlights make them look more like plastic figures than people to me. I wouldn't want this to sound like a bad thing though since the colors on this page too seem kind of idealized in a good way rather than usual/realistic. Just writing my thoughts, don't know if this is any use to you.

Amazing sketchbook for someone studying something else but visual art but good luck in both fields!

I couldn't really work on my chow entry, so the result has little or no change. Notice that this simmetry was incredibly hard to do, and still doesn't look right.

It's actually quite "lovely", the critter there, that's a devil alright, especially love how it looks like it's sneering. It's rather confusing though if it's a bug or a mammal, maybe a combination of both?

hello there, you got style and imagination, i would like to see little more careful proportions with humans and bigger enviroment paintings (like 10 hours) would be nice to see, how far you can push yourself right now.

5 star from me, keep on earning it!

Thanks for posting in my thread

It's amazing that you are so good at 3d-modelling and drawing as well. These Zbrush sculptures have so many details. I will try this Zbrush program but first I want to concentrate on drawing.

I love the Egyptian landscape, you have great ideas, I hope to see more environments in the future
