Hey Lennon thanks for commenting in my SB. I've really enjoyed looking through yours as I'm a fan of 3D and your models are really good. I think you have good concepts and characters as well. If you keep on improving your skills at this rate I don't think you're having any problems finding a job.

-Parsakoira: Thanks a lot!! Your avatar is awesome.
-Marian Rowling: I hope you're right.
    -KarylGilbertson: Thanks man.
-Aveh: Great to have you here, I hope you'll came again.
-Lord Dubu: I said it amazingly in my previous answer, so "Great to have you here, I hope you'll came again."

This is a simple animation based in Disney's character.
My first flash animation. I was trying to see if the effect on the tongue would work.

I finally did my exams. Studing Proust was amazing, it wasn't boring as I've thought; in fact is one of my favorite writers now. Still I didn't learned much greek, but if I knew that from the start, so overall it was a good semester.
-This walk cycle still works sort of weird, but mostly I wanted to see how would it turn when color was added and stuff like that.

I just finished this one, kind of over-did it, but I usually don't do crap, so it's nice to put some detail for a change. The monster is kind of goofy, that's because I usually start with my hand solid as a rock and I start loosing it a bit after.

Nice rendering on that walk cycle, but as said before it could do with more visual impact with some more frames. 'Overlap' (maybe on the long nose as his head tilts quickly, a bit of overlapping action as it 'catches up' if you know what I mean?), cushioning (extra frame or two to 'smooth' action out) and emphasis on follow-through of the leg movements, to give the stride some power.

Hope that wasn't too cluttered lol. Your sketchbook is looking very promising, I will keep looking back Keep it up, love to see more of those cycles (and I should get my butt back into animation methinks!)

Love that recent drawing! I like how much there is to see.
Reminds me of one of James Gurney's pieces, which is a big compliment since he's my art idol

    Hope you colour it soon!

Marian Rowling: Thanks a lot!! I really don't put more detail most of the time, so it's good to know that I did fine this time.
Jacklesbury:Yeah, definetly. I focus to much on wether if I could animate in flash and in the method and left aside the real animation aspect. Thanks for stopping by.
Sulphur: Thanks for the tip on that artist I didn't knew him, and it's great. Color it? Mmm, that seems like a hell lot of work...

-The first one is a character. I was trying to speed the process a lot, that's why it so simple (it may look as if I were not evolving, but I'm usually evolving in terms of speed/workflow before quality).
-Then, two speedpainting landscapes. I discovered the Unsharp mask filter. I wish people told me about this stuff. Most of you, I'm sure knew about this, since I saw the effect everywere. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should check it out, after you have a painting, try using this filter. It gives this cool look that sharpen your edges.

    Hey nice stuff!
The problem with the animation is the spacing and the timing. Take the walk for example.
The dude pases very quickly for it being a walk. Walk out the action yourself and time it to see how long it would take and take it from there.

In the lipsync, try not to pronounce every letter. Remember that a lot of the letters are just sliding out of us without our lips making any movement. Watch your lips in the mirror and say something to see these things.

Have you read the "Animators survivalkit"? I suggest that you do, it's a great guide. I used to animate before and I read that thing all the time while working.

    Keep it up!

I really like that little spot of violet in the cliff wall. You've got some refreshing linework, a little chaotic but organic. And I put the Unsharp mask filter on everything, it gives it just that little extra sharpness.

Hello there! You've got some awesome stuff here. I love how you manage to make so great lipsync aninmations, I'd just say that it would gain from getting the right voice for it (then it'll be easier to criticise) . And about your enviro. I'm not as good as you, but I find your pieces quite out of normal. I mean that in the real world when you're looking at things that are pretty far away those get blured so they don't have those sharp edges (2nd one in last post). And I don't like first enviro in #378 because of those dull colors. It's not that dull colors are bad, but here it looks like things close to us are not shaded well. Hope you understand what I've meant

THIS IS A PHOTOSTUDY That means that I copied a picture. I say this to avoid everyone to tell me that this one is the best one I've done.
I don't think that I learned much like this, copying every single tone carefully. The image was way more bigger but I couldn't continue, it took me A HELL LOT OF TIME, more than any other piece. It sure looks very cool as if I were in a level in wich I'm clearly not.
I used a lot of sharpening and even used a texture to make the sand (wich I think I totally covered).

This is from my own mind, I do look at a picture before, but didn't copy a thing. It's not as good as the one above, and it take so little time (it's a speed painting). But is better to see something real of my own that turn my brain in to a machine copying every tone. The last one was a nice experiment tough, but I don't think I'll continue with those.
AS you may notice, I'm practicing with the water (and a little with the sky).
That fallic building is not that one of Washington DC, but the one that's in Argentina (the french gave us one too).
