I never do much cross-hatching, so I wanted to give it a go.
This animals come from reference, the lights are mine.
definitely subscribing to this thread, very inspiring and I loved the variety.
The animals are looking great, I only think that the tiger's ears are a bit too long and "pointy"?

Thanks! here's anotherone from today, I may work a little more in this one it's still not doing it for me.
Liking the enviros and creature concept!
Erase the perspective lines next though^^
Judging from the past pages I feel like the thing you need to work on most is your values. You seem to distribute them fairly evenly throughout your paintings which makes them not very "readable" in terms of space.
Keep up the good work![]()
Ok, thanks.
Here´s the one for today, kind of unfinish without colour or anything and the lights are consistent but don´t much the source.
Wow, I like it! Is she falling? The hair seems to suggest it, but I also got a bit of a 'floaty' vibe from it..
Look forward to seeing how it turns out!![]()
Hey thanks for the stop by in my humble sb! I like your creatures, and the color in your enviros. Maybe use harder brushes in the last stage of this latest piece think it could make it pop out of the screen.
Your latest environments are looking great. And the creature in post #421 is really nice and crisp too.
love the last few updates, the pixel car was dope, cheers!
Great character and environment! Espechualy i like the way of render animals #423! Keep it up do more great stuff!
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
A new one for today...
For today. Inspired by the work of artbytheo.
Hola Lennon, que buenos trabajos se ven por aqui ultimamente. Veo una gran mejoría en general, en especial en los escenarios. Este último tiene una atmósfera muy bien conseguida, aunque quizá forzaría más el contraste en el primer plano.
saludos y a seguir trabajando!
Gracias Ricardo! Another pass.
I was kind of mimicking the Machinarium style from mind.
Yum! Industrial enviro's looking super!
I also like that Alice piece too (it's Alice, isn't it?), though I'd crop the right side of the painting, so that Alice will be in the middle, falling from that window to the mysterious cloud below (left end). Just my opinion though, I hope it could be of some consideration
In all, nice works! Liking your creatures (this llama-ish one sure have style!).
Keep it up man!

Hey Lennon great posts on this page, I've really been enjoying them.![]()
Thought I'd stop by and see what you've been up to. As always loving your enviros. The animal studies are very good and nicely rendered. I got a kick outa the opera singer!Good to see you mixing it up with color and style like in the Machinarium type image and the last one! Can almost taste the atmosphere on the "ship" piece and the knight/castle image.
