I've just started blocking in shapes and lighting. I was hoping to get some feedback before I go too far in the wrong direction. All c&c is welcome and appreciated. Thanks

Quick question, is that light dot in the sky the sun, or just a left over paint mark? If it is the sun then you should really rethink the way the light is hitting the scene.
It's a fifty foot robot gladiator that just had slain a dragon... is more than one sun that difficult to fathom at this point? hahaha, jk.
*zazz*
@Hendric VII: Lighting is okay, although I wonder why you choose to do it in this way. Everything in the forground is casted in shadow. As is a great part in the backround, to represent an audience is it not?
What is your goal? Do you want to practice your lighting skills, or texture? (Metals and reflections) Focussing on the robot, only. Or just tell a short story, where everything (and everyone) plays its part?
Don't like what I wrote?!? BITE me! But BEWARE I sting!
I think it would do you good to play around with the brush settings and different brush presets. Personally I find the standard brush to be rubbish for coloring. I use a lot of Camel Hair, but the big boys usually lean towards custom brushes from what I've understood.
