Whoha SIZE DOES MATTER! Very nice Davi! I like the subtle color variations in this one and the thick cold look of it!^^
nice sketches you got here. ooh, megaman!
you got lots of great characters and studies. would like to see more light studies.. like if you did lots of stills from reality? I think of reflective color and light etc. Some of your sketches feel quite flat and blocked. Maybe I don't know all of your work yet
keep it up and happy holidays![]()
thanks for the crits guys!
yah, lighting studies... *adds to list*
So far I need to work on female anatomy, lighting studies, industrial design, perspective, action poses for characters/creatures, learning basic 3d(sketchup or maya), and environments....
sigh...
anyway here is a slightly broken perspective ship.

Love the head on that chameleony creature! Your To-Do List reads identical to mine, except I need both male & female anatomy study/dynamic poses.![]()
... Oh, and texture brushes.
suddenly i realize that your giant snow chameleon might look good in stripes too..![]()
Lookin good as always man, Love female character, she looks like she can kick major butt. Where does she store her arrows? Maybe add an accessorie or two.
smart idea, i totally said i was going to do that and forgot
Here's some studies i've done over break.

Really nice job n this last one, the subtle flavour you gave the greyscale is great, the only crits I've got for ya are that she looks like she's sitting too close to a wall, and her feet are a little bit small. Other than that it seems those studies are truly paying dividends.
cheerio
Davvi, great to see your progress.
Like I said a while ago, I always get the feel of your pieces very strongly... yeah, i feel the feeling of the feel.
God I sound like a child molester.
Anyway, Keep it up!
I really like the colors in that last one. Wish I could see you paint.
I also liked the subtle figures in the background![]()

how can you stand that game?
It's so clunky and linear :<
Nice WIP though.
because i only play PVP(rvr)![]()
From my experience deleting all games from your computer is a emancipating experience. Made me realise how limited computer games are compared to drawing and art. You won't regret it. Although games can be inspirational for me they're very counterproductive so I just look at the concept art and screenshots.
Big fan of your creatures, and your humans are really improving also, go for the gusto.
^ True, if you can't find the discipline, it's better to go with this approach till art is what you want to spend your time on.
However, I don't think (or know for that matter) that davvi's really at risk of this, I mean, he moderates and navigates these forums right? Got to count for something.
Moarupdatesthoughplzkthnx.
I should visit here more often, damn.

last couple of updates are highly inspirational.

Sweet designs. Creatures are getting better an' better.
This last guy is wicked. I reckon it would have more sense of weight if the spine was sagging?
Please remove the image after you've seen it, as to not mess up your SB.![]()
That last one is awesome. I love what you did with the wrist/fore-arm/etc anatomy. Great!

Love your sketches! The one you posted on Dec 25 really caught my eye. The skin texture is so nice and pebbly; looks like a cross between a chameleon and a komodo dragon.![]()

The tri-jaw-plated monster thing is just flabbergasting great stuff.
