Hells yeah this is nice. Been linking a lot of your work in IRC. You might want to take a look at her shoulders. They're kind of flat right now and should have a more feminine curve to them. Also, she looks a bit upset. Maybe change it to a wry smile or something to give her a more happy feeling? I dunno...just throwing out some suggestions?
hey rudy, nice to see you updating again man, you really nailed the mask concept really well. to bad you didnt win the contest.. but no shame against shelly wan off course...
the cinderella is very cool, nice simple composition. i like the colors (purpleish shadows, and red for certain skin surfaces)
some pointers though, i think some of her proportions are off. the top of the whole figure is in a smaller scale then the lower part.
but the whole thing will be pretty badass if you put some more time and effort in it.
see ya and good luck!
Stark: cheers man! thanks for the pointers. I think I see what you mean, they're kinda square looking, I'll try and fix that.
I dunno, I kinda like her upset or agitated looking. Maybe the prince turned out to be a prick
Teh Gosu: Thanks Jelle! Ah yes I see what you mean...you mean in lenght right? didn't even notice that untill just now, will fix!
meanwhile here's another update, stairway sucks...
Nice colors! I want her socks! :3
That right there is moneh. Dude, please finish, polish, and post this in FF. You have a site or something where I can see all your works? Easily one of my top artists on CA for sure. But make sure you keep the panty shot in. That has to be in there. Makes the piece just ___ this much more spectacular. CHEERS!
hello again! yeah i like this one especially for some reason the marks around her lost shoe. and her shoulders do need more 3-dness to them. good work!
Nice speed work, I think the shoulders are fine and the overall pose is decent!
I've enjoyed looking through your sketchbook. I love your character concepts and ideas, and mostly your art.![]()
I must say I really enjoy your sketchbook and I am sure I will check back here many more times! I enjoy both the subjects and your clay like brush strokes! you could work some more on color variation, but then again, I do like what I see. thanks for posting!!
Flaskpost: heh thanks!
Stark: cheers mate!I have a gallery on cgsociety (link in my sig) but I haven't updated for a while. I've been working of and on on a personal website forever, but I still haven't finished anything or put anything online yet. One day I'll get to that
eskanto: thanks again
Rabid: thank you!
ilmenhin: thanks! glad you like it
jenzi: thank you very much!
Here's a little more work on Cinderella. A little tweaking and some bg work in painter.
The second is a pencil sketch I did last night and touched it up a bit in photoshop. Except for the skull no ref was used.
update!yup it's the same skull...

the hands and feet on the last one is really great and your proportions are pretty accurate! I don't feel that "cat" as much tough, it feels rushed. color wise I am actually missing some pink on the girls body and also some subsurface scattering, some of your shadows feels just a tad too dark. the way it looks now could of course have been intentional as to make it seem more dead as dead people tend to get a bit waxy and giving that plastic doll feel. the head feels very 2d and a bit of, don't get me wrong I LOVE ROBOTS, it just feels misplaced in this particular picture. and I guess the navel is of about an inch or something pull it down a bit.
tl;dr there are some problems with this picture, but over all I do like it, its a really nice study and I really like where you are heading! +1EXP
Hi there, Rudeone
Wide variety of subjects and very nice technique, which makes it an eye-catching sketchbook!!
Keep posting!
Hey, cheers for posting in my SB. I like the use of subtle tones in your paintings. Very nice
Sorry, can't think of anything particularly constructive right now - will pop by later when I'm a bit more awake, haha.
jenzi: thanks!the suggestion of a dead body was sort of what I intended, atleast a somewhat eerie mood although I wasn't sure where I was heading exactly. At this point the cat thing is gone and the robot head replaced with a human head as I didn't really feel that as well. It's pretty much finished now. I'll post it in the ff section sometime.
luness: thank you very much
Quicksilver: hey no problem, thank you for dropping by!![]()

Pretty nice style you have! Keep on the good work!![]()
gotta tell you! I really like what you have been up to lately! you are hitting the real colors pretty well, but I think your style would benefit from an exaggerated palette, try pushing the strong colors a bit further! keep at it!
Some really nice digital stuff here, and great colours
.... will be back to see more
