    nice

your environments look pretty good, however your planes and other objects look to choppy and dont fit in the environment.

Hey Zorcron, thanks for taking a look at my stuff.

You stuff looks really sweet. Hard to believe you've only been painting that long.
I especially like the trees in front of the lone mountain, they look like they're just slightly out of focus, its a really cool effect.

Can't wait till you're digital gets as good as your acrylic.

Thanks for visiting my SB mate and I might I just say that wow those environments look really sweet!

Just make sure to remember where the light is striking in some of them as your latest one could use some darker shadows in the cathedral roof. Anywho, wicked stuff man! Keep it up!

thank you sir ! and i shall keep it up ive got a project with a game designer now its a game where you paint in parts of the screen and the painting changes as you do more

example an abstract energetic painting starts out colorless and boring but at the end its got vibrancy and action

pull out the paints! nothing like seeing color and forms appear before your own eyes

Hey zorcron, I never thanked you for reminding me to use the side of my pencil for shading. Too used to my mechanical pencil.

    so Thanks!

Airplane is looking way better, Im having a little bit of a problem with the perspective/shape on the left wing, have a look and see if you agree.

Your work is reminding me of something, I read somewhere to use the biggest brush possible in photoshop for what you are doing, a lot of your brushstrokes seem very small.

Some keyboard shortcuts for you if you havent found them:
    ] increase brush size
    [ decrease brush size
shift + ] increase brush hardness by 25%
shift and [ increase brush softness by 25%

    keep up the good work

I think you should try bigger brushes when you're doing environments.

I'm not sure if you drew the portrait from a picture or not, but I find that doing so helps me a lot. Try drawing from pictures (preferably life) and you'll see what you need to work on.

Your stuff is really good, the hard lines doesn't really bother me but I think your work would reach another level if you try softer brushes. Nice!

correct me if im wrong, but i believe closer objects are sharper and the farther away you go the less clear it gets. So having super fine lines in the distance distrubs the overall flow of the picture.

Will visit again sometime soon keep at it

quick sketch less then 30 min trying to get the color across from ref\

(edit ) somthing that has been bothering me is the lack of foreground definition that would help define scale oh well il remember for next time

even just loose rubble would have helped

Hi Zorcron, nice sketchbook! Your latest environment is great. Some crit for the self portrait from #17: the background is too much melting with the face, try to seperate it more. Also try to work more with light and shade: I think the nose is done with outlines not with clear shading - correct me if I am wrong and sorry for the bad english; hope you get what I mean...

The colours on that last environment are great. Also, the lack of the fine lines in the earlier ones is a pleasant change - it works very well.

As for the portrait, the nose seems a bit long and very uniform in width. Normally it would thin down a little towards the top, and the lightest spot would probably be the tip of the nose.
