another great vid, great light etc.. love your paintings. anyway thx u for another aswome vid
Great vidcommented on youtube
I'm really digging these videos, m@. The process is always awesome to watch. A lot of times, it's almost AS interesting as the finished product. Cheers!
thanks guys
Jens : that's because I always work in Lab color. I don't always pick colors in Lab though, they tend to be too saturated. I only pick when I need some nice glowy colors (that will blend by changing hue)
new vid again! 12 minutes speedy. I think I went overboard with the rim light, but well that's the charm of live capture

and a speedy I did a couple of weeks ago

keep coming
Thought so.Originally Posted by m@.
Anyway, you could probably get Gnomon to make a dvd with you if you want to. It's intresting to see how you work in these youtube videos you post. You seem to use a round brush most of the time. I thought all speedpainters were more of brush abusers (nothing wrong with that though).
Hope too see more from you soon, Mathias and thanks for posting videos![]()
Wow, that last character has a nice natural pose, cool! The speedpaint
looks cool as well , i'm really curious to see it
Thanks for updating so often! Eye candy i tell you! ^^

callops : thanks!
wasker : I used to be a "brush abuser", did a lot of experiments with custom brushes (if you look at my older work, even a few months ago you should see that.. and even more 1 year ago), but somehow lately I prefer working mostly with simple brushes.. and only use complex brushes when I really have a purpose for them.
Dile : no problem!

youtube kinda screwed me up on that last video, it still is "processing"... (alright it works now, post edited).Anyway Here's a direct link to the video : http://mv.cgcommunity.com/echange/knight.divx

m@ you're a real inspiration!
I'm sure you hear that allot, but it's really true.
Every time i enter your SB and look at your art
my mind creates its own features. Thanks for sharing!
and I hope you upload more vid's. they are great.
Wish you'd make one with a "non speedwork painting" !!!

Wow m@, thank you so much for sharing those videos! Really great to see your process![]()
lovin this stuff my friend. you execute your images extremely well. the core of many of your paints seems pretty simple and then you build off that to the point where it feels very believable, something i think many people have trouble with including myself. im curious, where do you work at?
