Off to a great start. Loving these extra long panoramics.
On this one; the guy in armor - if I may ask how did you do the details in the armor?

I love those ~6:1 widescreen landscapes.
Wow, thanks for the lovely inspiration. The panoramic landscapes are stellar, as is all your work these days

So do you work professionally?
Ahhhhrgh its a shame that this is my first post on your sketchbooks!
I think half of my 2d gallary on my pc are pictures from you.
Your work is so amazing.
Would you mind if I print this pic on canvas, and hang it into my room?
I love it. (ill remove the pic as soon you replied, dont whant to disrupt the structure of the sb)

Skeiff : thanks ! well some of the quick enviros (2nd and 7th enviro I think) started out from small photo thumbs, but ended up as completely different light/moods/settings, so I dunno if we can call that ref or not. I also used some slight photo overlay sometimes to get grain and color variations.
SamsonsReaper : thanks man!
frostsnake : I replied to that to Skeiff just above. Thanks!

a couple of mindless quickies I did this evening... approx 30 minutes each.
![]()
yeah updates!!! my fav is the secund one, love the atmosphere and the tranquility on it, its seems the kind of plane backing home after a hard battle
Your mindless quickies look better than the ones I labor over. lol Great stuff man.
Yaha. Great update. I'd love to see some serious tutorials if you ever get the time. Have I already said that? I can't remember
I actually said out loud to myself "these are beautiful!" to the first batch of wide shot enviros.
It actually sounded pretty strange to say it out loud, but it just happened.
Now just to hunt down your old one for those tuts, haha.
Call0ps : thanks , that's kinda the feel I wanted to give
DARAF : well often quick sketches have a better feeling than long overworked pics .. imho. Thanks!
Q-Caddlewick : ahhh serious tuorial. maybe one day...![]()
Sublimus : haha thanks

a few digisketches without ref. I definitely need to practice more ear rendering... I can do decent ears in 3D (so I guess I know the shape) but shading them correctly in perspective from mind is another taskpld: .. they always end up flat somehow

Ah, thanks for the explanation on the armor - given me a lot to think about and try out. Cheers!
Edit: whoah hey, nice to see some 'sketches' from you.
Nice man, Ears are often overlooked by most artist. Good for you.
