The Mammalian Serpent of the Bakitau Caves.
This rare serpent lives under the earth in the northernmost reaches of the ancient world, and is still believed to be alive today. The cold blooded creature has evolved through the years to develop a massive, and beautiful, mane for the regulation of temperature within its body. Records that have been written of its sightings describe the creature as gentle, in contrary to common belief, and found usually coiled up in the comfort of the subterranean caves in which it dwells.

Looks like your creature will be just a bunch of hairs which take control of other things or beings...i say no to this. The idea might be good, but there is no creature design in this concept, so stay away from that

Thanks for clearing this up, better now than later when I'm too far into this. I had suspicions it would be a questionable response to the topic, but I liked the idea and thought I'll give it a shot anyway.

More ideas comin up, hopefully. Think, think, think...

The Kohub also known as the hairy beauty of space, was discovered by lost space drone at year 2067. Once startled it can traveller on incredible speed. The creature wanders on space in groups. Such sight can only be witnessed every 50 years. At year 2270 they became hot attraction for space tourists.

So I decided to stick w/ the original idea. This is only my second real painter attempt... the program is extremely new to me, so any assistance anyone can provide as far as technique or feedback goes would be greatly appriciated!!!
