I dig pencil rendering in your sketches. If you have problem with bodies then I recommend Loomis and Hogarh figure drawing books . They are really helpful.

Your pencil work's amazing. Yea you should definetly try Loomis, I try to concentrate on faces as I find them alot easier so I need to work on bodies too.
    Character faces are great btw...
    Keep it up!

Wow, I have to agree with sanest, amazing pencil work. Keep it up, love the loose idea`s. You draw well
from your imagination, I consider it one of the most valuable skills to poses. Keep it up

youve got a damn good style. i love the faces & the designs that you keep comin up with. though i cant tell if the heads seeming small is something that you are doing by accedent or something that is part of the style you have created.

beautiful lines and expressions, but as mentioned above you shouldn't avoid bodies. it would help if you did a few pages of quick body studies, memorize proportions, learn how they move, and just get comfortable with them.

Nice group of sketches. In looking through them I noticed that a few of the figures have small heads in proportion to their torso's.

All the faces that you have done are quite nice and seem to have character, but a few different expression would be a good thing to practise (don't get pissed off - I do need to do this too).

    Good start to your sketchbook.

Thanks for the comments and advises!!!!

I made two face sketches and practiced anatomy.
It was fun to draw the faces
I used pencils 5H,2B and soft white pencil
    paper size A4

The Loomis books are very useful for the anatomy

for practiced the anatomy i use paper A3,I dont really like draw on small paper
I had problems with scanning this A3 shit But it was worth it.

    cheers

Very nice sketches! Good to see you practicing the legs, but I think they are a bit to(o?) short. Legs always seem too long when you roughly sketch them, but try things out and you will get there. Great faces and upper body!

Yes that is true but these are fat men who tend to have small legs. Also this could be his style.

Hy there... truly great Sketchbook youve got there!!!
Like all the others I love your faces and monsters and rendering! ^^

For your newer body studies. To me it looks like your heads most of the time are too small to fit to the body and the biceps is too far down (if you know what I mean...) You should put it up higher where shoulder and breast muscle meet.

Hope that helps... great stuff!!! 3

Great line weight and quality. Just be careful on the head size - a number of the heads either seem too small, or sitting on necks that might be too long or high. Some may be "stylized" that way, but some just look a bit strange...

Would love to see more - put those random floating heads on some bodies!

cool stuff you've got going on here man!

I like http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/1167/mffwsf22ne2.jpg this one, its very fantasy-like for some reason, seems like some lotr art or something of the like. The anatomy in your drawings is very... anatomical! hehe, shows that ur doing ur studies though and its looking good!

keep it up, and... I'll be back!

Hola, dude, good characterfaces, post more as soon you can About the anatomy: Try also to read the books of George B. Bridgeman, one of the best tutors explaining the mechanic of the human body. And try, as often as possible, to draw from life. Your linework is alrady splendid, can´t wait to see it on some real life drawings
    Cheers, Eric

Now I understand why you told me to do figure studies! Your grasp of shapes - that of a sculptor - allows you to morph and caricature anything you wish while keeping total consistency. Kudos! I'll try to learn from your work.

I like the picture of the white guy at the bookshelf a lot, have you made more of that kind?
