Thanks kfeeras! I have been putting a lot of effort into my environments, and im pretty happy with the results, but i keep trying to improve myself
Plus, I actually am able to come up with my own ideas now, and not just variations on other peoples ideas, lol.
Ill go check out your sketchbook and leave some comments there.
Sorry i am almost a month late seeing your message, its been a busy month![]()

Here are a few more recent sketches. First 2 are concepts for a matte painting which will have live action in the foreground which is why there is the black matte at the bottom. No reference used:
The first sketch was discarded, so it is the second one which will become the matte painting.
This is a sketch that I did earlier tonight using photo ref:

Hey there nick nice sketchbook so far. If I were to give u some advice based on the work ive seen it would probly be the same advice i try to give myself every once in a while. Its that a lot of your views you choose, the perspective, are usualyl from a regular eye level. Like you are looking directly at the horizon.
I think its the easiest view for humans in general but Its one of those things that makes an image more dynamic.
Keep it up!
Excelent Landscapes man!!
