AimBiZ: Thanks I might give it go with coloring.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect The answer is C a lot of people picked that answer too.
    courtyard Thanks
    Verehin Thanks for stopping by

I'm struggling a bit learning faces, brushing up on it again. But Gibson Girl studies and plaster studies I think will help. Most of those heads are pretty crappy and a shamed off but if I do enough they should go away. Also included is anime loading screen for a Ragnarok online game server.

You got a ton great stuff. You sure know how to fill out page of a sketchbook. I need to take a lesson from you, must fill out more of the empty spaces on the page. I like your anime stuff but love your studies the most! Very nice inspirational stuff I'm definitely coming back when you update.

BTW, your last name is Luk? Chinese?

Love the facial planes study, with the warm background colours. Very nice image.
I enjoy your comic stuff as well, and it shows that your mind can easily work with more abstract colours and shapes, which is always good. Also, teh wizard image is awesome. Where is the light coming from though?

Those face studies are fantastic...wow. Amazing variety. The Gibson Girl studies are particularly nice. Really cool to see where you were working out the facial planes.

darkchild: Thanks. Alright another anime fan. Yes my last name is Luk, I'm a Chinese but born in America.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect Thanks, I'm still not satisfied with my faces yet.
AmontilladoAg Thanks. The Gibson Girl style is awesome I have lot to learn from it.
Janos Glad you enjoy the comic. The light source is suppose to be coming from the bottom. Should I throw in some more yellow at the base?
courtyard Thank you. The facial planes always gets me but that Gibson Studies can hopefully solve that.

EDIT: Sorry courtyard, I was a bit too tired when posting back replies and got my names confused.

Hey man! Thanks for droppin by in my SB.

I've seen your posts since my last visit here and i see you still make some great studies. I've also seen som nice ideas and conceps. All in all you are a very good illustrator.
I have one crit though. In posts #169, #177 and #188 the animals' legs are too thick and in the last one, with the too deers, the sitting deer looks like it has rubber legs. I think you need to fix those.

    Keep up the good work!

Janos Toilet paper power! I don't know what people would without it.
courtyard Thanks I'll keep studying Loomis. Sorry for the name mix up, I was posting at 5:47 AM.
    Braintree Thank you
darkchild Awesome. I can't speak chinese too much but when I get scolded by my parents when I was young. I understood all of it. Haha.
Keenox I agree they look kind of chubby next post I'll do quick mock up for the sake of practice on them.

I finally got the green light to show this. Here is the final product of the iWin.com Games avatar system done with a talented team. Also some concept work for styles and body types.

The facial features are very customizable for viewers to express themselves. We did hundreds of features which in turn can make thousands of fun variations.

I remember having a game like that once ( i was 5 or something), where you could customize faces. The colors was black and white and you could only make like 30 different face, total, but it was fun though.
best of luck with the game dude

Tugelbend I know...drawing anime...playing anime games. It's taboo here. Kidding a side it's fun. Thanks for stopping.
    Grandmassa Mr. Spect Thanks man
Keenox It took me a while to find my old mountain lion painting but I took your comments to heart and adjust it with thinner legs. I'm still digging around for the deer painting.

Here are some plaster studies. I'm in the process of coloring a female alien concept.

I would so adoptr a rhino baby.
Your pencils are as always very nice, I also love the four different styled comic characters, great idea there.
I think the two digitals in the last post tend to be a little flat, not sure why that is though.

    Cheers mate

Janos, Thanks I'm glad you like the pencils. As for the paintings I'll try to work on the edges more and define a light source for the alien concept. I'll try to make it more 3d.

    Gibson studies and random gestures.

Those gestures in #293 are fantastic! Really confident lines and lots of movement considering you're using posemaniacs! The life drawings actually look slightly stiff in comparison...perhaps you could try lightly sketching the gesture before advancing to contours and shading? Also, the feet look a bit rushed, which throws off their balance and weight a bit. Thanks for the updates!

Grandmassa Mr. Spect Thanks I should practice more speed paint, I get to much caught in polishing I forget the fun of actually painting.
Demo*Places a baby rhino in Demo's lap with some baby formula and runs away*
courtyard Thanks. I agree. I been attempting to take AztcFireFlower suggesting in outlining then shading. But I haven't been executing all to well. I check my other set of figure drawing they too look stiff. I'll try to break up the line weight more and use looser strokes for gestures. I'll practice more on feet.

As Mischeviouslittleelf suggested, more colored work. There is the female alien concept all painted.
