Hooray!

Up above on the character expressions I fixed the lower left face's neck.

First picture: Just drawing out things. Some sort of encampment.

Second picture: Face of the model at the CA life drawing session yesterday (Saturday).

keep it up, i see improvements, try bringing a white pencil for your colored paper sketches, you can really make them more dramatic with more contrast.

as for crits the face's ear is extremely large, it should fit somewhat butween the brow of the eye and the base of the nose

Hello! Looks like it's been a year since I updated my sketchbook. Truth is, I've been drawing, but... I feel like I haven't been expanding where I could be in art.

Regardless, I continue to draw. I haven't drawn as much as I should have, which equates there to being a year's worth of art, but nowhere near as much as there should be in this post. ;]

Another note, there are recurring characters that come up because I was working on a comic for them for a while, and I had to put it on hiatus due to a very hectic and stressful first year at Real School (i.e. my second year of college, I transferred to a big university).

There's D&D/D20 modern character doodles too, when I still had a group to play with.

I apologize in advance if there's anything that makes no sense; it's been a year and jokes, silly doodles, etc. adorn sketchbook pages and I'm not sure how it happened ;p.

Enough with my babbling! Here's a myriad of pictures.

So, I've come back to CA. I have gone through periods of coming and going to this place ... and now I'm hoping to be here for a little longer. :]

If I open my sketchbooks from the past few years, I may scan things from them, but honestly, I'd like to just start fresh. Here are some very quick, very cartoony gestures and lemur gestures for my animation class, and other miscellaneous warm-up sketches/studies.

Welcome back.

And from the time between 2008 and now, there's quite a bit of improvement shown. Keep at it, and DO draw some gesture drawings. (especially of hands). You'll thank yourself later.

Updates. Sculptures, sketches for fun, some sketches from life, and life drawings after ages of not going (hence why the proportions are wonky, stiff, and a number of other things... Oh well!
