You have pretty good things, keep up with good work, thanks for the advise : ) you re right. hope to see more of your digital painting to
Wow, I see you'll have no problems with the imagination part of creating concept art! Great work! Maybe some more drawings from life, say your friends or family or maybe you could sketch just everyday people too? I guess that would bring a more human element to your characters which would make them more interesting and believable too. Hey, thanks for visiting my sketchbook, too. Us newbies will all improve in no time as long as we keep on practicing.![]()

Hey Blaz, some very nice character designs in here! Your PS piece in your last post looks great, although I'm not experienced enough with photoshop to give you a decent crit, I can say though as you said, the trumpet kind of looks a little flat, just touch it up with reflections and correct shading and I'm sure it will look great. I'm afraid I can't really give advice on what to do, maybe check out some PS tutorials on metal shading or something. But everythings looks real good, keep on drawing! and thanks for the comment in my Sb
Oh and you play guild wars (Well I guess so from the designs for it)! Nice!

Thank you,and yes i play GW (well not often lately)!![]()
And Don-Key thx for the advice pushing up contrast is really what i needed!

Hey blazzor, seeing some improvement here, that last update really stuck out from the bunch. The linework is a bit inconsistent, keep an eye out for that. :1 But i like the concepts man, really dug that ice cream man. :3 Keep it up mate.
TUNAFISH SAMMICHES?!
awsome stuff man. i really like the linework of the first posts, as u get down and start shading in values i think u lose a bit of the crispness, particularly because of your midrange values. your sketches dont really have pronounced shadows or highlights. in your paints u are defining it a lot more however i think u can still build up those forms a little stronger and push the values further to give your work more presence. gwork though. keep it up
Hey man, awesome, your 16 also. Thanks for the advice.
Those last drawings you posted are pretty sweet, I like the little girl with the skull head, and the colored version of Balthazar. I wish I knew enough to post some good crits, but I don't.. so just keep it up!!
The detail on your figures is something to behold! But once u learn how to do life drawing like proper u'll be amazed at how much better those guys and gals look posture wise. U'll be like how the hell did i ever survive without this!?
Something else that im also guilty of not doing is backgrounds and shadow planes on character drawings giving them that 'character stuck in the void' look, i need to work on this also and so i shall. Hope to see more mate!![]()
You got some really nice stuff in here with some minor flaws (hands look a little small in some places and some floating characters) but I can see in your last few posts that you're improving. don't get me wrong, you are talented and I'm not really in any position to crit your work since I'm new at this. I really like your style and I see you got good taste in gaming too, love GWAnyhow, would really like to see some more soon!
Oh, and yea, I think the admins want people to use the image manager instead of img-tags. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you all once again for replying, kind words and huge help!
You really boosted my confidence ^^ hehe
Oh and zombie_dla you are right, damn,i have to use attachment manager....ill try to fix that!![]()

Awesome stuff, keep it up.
In fact, I feel like drawing after looking at this stuff. AFK xD

There´s big improovement compared to the first posts. In your first pics your characters had in my opinion a lack of expression, it looked like you were afraid of drawing heads........but seein your last post showed me that you already going in the right direction. Your figures in the last post have character and style and also different face expressions.![]()
...Maybe work a little more on the eyes, most characters of youres have the same.. (no pupils and round eyes).
So keep it up, you´re on the way!
nice stuff! i really like your ideas and the characters you come up with. some of them are weird but, maybe you could push it a bit too. hehehee...![]()
I'm looking for work!
@iMaiM: Thanks alot man!
@Delmar: Thank you,and yes im afraid of drawing heads lol....thx for the advice!
@shidoken:Thx, I am trying...but what do you mean by pushing it?
Todays mindless doodling in school, heh nice way to make boring classes interesting!

hey man, cheers for the post over at my thread. Some really intresting designs here. I think some more drawing from life will help give your line abit more life and help you find more contrast in your rendering.
keep posting
cheers
Thanks for taking the time and looking at my work. I must say your imagination is overflowing with great ideas! Very cool works. Your attention to detail on some of your works is superb, especially that last post. My favorite has to be this: http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/5944/olyssavw8.jpg
Very clean lines and very nicely portrayed. Now vary the line weights a bit to bring more depth. Any plans to color some of the earlier posts? They all seem to be set up to be colored. I hope you continue to post! Keep up the great work!

Very amusing self portait, hehe
Your concepts like the nightbringer and scarab king for example are very nice. Keep updating![]()
Great start, especially at a young age. Keep going with it. Free up your hand when you draw. Forget about details like some people said. I strongly encourage you to pick up some colored pencils, markers, whatever...One thing I learned in art school was to never be too comfortable with a certain medium/approach. You will pick up new techniques and learn more about your technique. later
@Shinryu: Thx,i always try to life draw a bit more but when i start making sketches of figures i dunno i cant help my self to add some details and at the end it turn into clown or something -.-
@darkchild:Thanks alot! And yes those earlier drawings were made to be colored but I eventually lost interest in them!
@Dan Valkar:Thank you,but im a bit confused about Yu Gi Oh part?I dunno where did you find similarity...clowns maybe?
@Nigel:Thank you
@Spyplane:Thx for the advice...ill try to experiment a little *goes looking for colored pencils*
And...
....todays uber emo drawing i made in painter..still huge noob im experimenting and learning more about program through doodling and this was the doodle which i deceided to color it for avatar but i guess ill post it too...
...ok maybe im kinda shy of this...but what the hell....BOMB ME with crits about painting![]()

SB. p31 updated 25.04.2012.
HEHE...blaz u must have the craziest on the spot imagination i have ever seen, the stuff i scribble in class is the same old stick ppl, guns and robots *shy face*..but you gees you come up with some weird but VERY VERY cool stuff. now just do it deliberatly, i would love to see you compete in the C.O.W competition(creature.of.the week)a weekly cometition to create th best and coolest monster which fits the set specification. i am hopless at drawing and digi painting but i find seeing others work and ideas has given me huge inspiration and spured me on to be much much better than i was before. and with your detailed drawing and even a small amount of photoshop skills you could win week on week. link C.O.W#77:http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=89824
Thank you life on a sofa! ^^
Damn how come i didnt see that topic earlier....
....what a great challange...

Great post at #46. Keep up the GW stuff and I'm sure one day you'll be doing some killer stuff.
cheers.
Blaz, your stuff is very original & you draw really well, I just see that you try to avoid perspective, the concept of your environment is very good but it does need some work on the perspective, I would recommend you the book "Rapid Viz", it explains very good and makes you understand it in a very easy way and without all the technical side of it (which is not bad but is harder to understand right away). Keep posting!
