Thanks for the comments, and yes, illustration is and has been my weapon of choice for quite some time now.

We'll see about my first wacom pic. Have no clue on what to do! >.<
Any suggestions?

My main character in GW is Insane Was Em. Feel free to whisp me whenever you want.

@kischi: Thx. Yeah it looks good from distance because its blury...and thats because its only WIP...although i dont think ill finish it.

Hi I been scrolling your SB and I love your pencils and the high contrast stuff!

As for krits Im gonna crit this last one.
1st. The pose of the character is the weakest part of your painting, it looks kinda like hes trying not to fall backwards. Try and draw character balanced befor starting to paint.
2nd. The face of the character looks a bit dead. It looks a bit like hes about to charge up a powerful atack but he looks kinda like a grumpy old man. Try and make the yeys say more and also maybe he could do a war-scream.

just a sugestion.
3rd. The colors look as weak as mine and its something we have to work hard with.

On thing I do now thats wery helpful is pausing a dvd and painting the screan with eyepicked colors.
Hope to se this evolve to an awsome fiery actack scene!

Ok my pencil self portrait has some major issues. I look 5 years older too...

Niiiice master studies a page back. And your SP is coming along - and yeah, a darker background will give your SP more drama. That'd be very cool.

Happy New year everyone!

Ok this is so typical of me. I post for few days then i dissapear for a month. Damn, I have to stop slacking so much.
And everything to be worse I gave up on my Medusa, and 3 days till deadline, I wont make it.
Ill just stick to teen challenges!

Here is:
1. New doodle from today, photo ref all except lady with a hat.
2. Updated medusa with base colors. You wont see medusa finished.

hey dude, digging that sp, the colours are a bit too "pure" in some parts though (eg: the shirt) mix it up with some variety of compliments and opposites

also, im not one to speak but try looking at improving the hatching in your pencil rendering...it looks tad messy atm

keep pushing it man!

Great stuff, I last looked at an artist who worked wih 2 colours black and white and he can do everything with it, try ones to work with much much shadows with different contrast :s (don't know if you spel that right )
That could give a lot of difference in your art.

good update, is this digi or in pen? try having more variance in line weight, and oh yeah.. u didn't really need to get rid of the "horrible drawing" you could probably get some good crits from it

neat updates, new page for me. Have your medusa colors all picked out? maybe some subtle reds to go with the green snakes? What do you mean we wont see it finished...running out of time? Either way finish sir. Unless you reallly dont want to. otherwise do it!

SP is definately cool...I agree with the few comments on making it dark...could add some subtle pirate theme in the back like wooden boards. meh maybe your done with it! Gettin good man
