I politely and with respect would say: Let him be the way he is on paper... I think he doesn't insult anyone personally except the girl with the lollipop and he is a very unusual and great talent in my opinion, very diverse, very observant, with a sharp eye for beauty.... I take a lot from his vision... He is just young and that will pass itself.
This photo with larvae insects lined up like Egyptian mummies... beautiful... how extraordinary to notice that.

Wanimal, I've been watching your sketchbook for quite a long time, and I'm impressed by your technical ability, but, having seen what you've done I'd like to see more expression of different emotions.

A lot of what you've done has been to shock the senses, and why not? Horror, sex, exploitation,- whatever. Now. avoiding horror, sex, exploitation, revulsion or war images, could you post something to make us wonder or give us joy? I think you could do it without being sentimental or resorting to cliches.

You may choose misery, but I have the feeling that would be slick for you, and too easy. Would you express joy and wonder for me? I could do with a little cheering up, and I really would like to see how you would express it without resorting to cliches. I'm pretty sure that you can (okay, I KNOW you can) but I'd like to see the results....

I have been watching this thread since the beginning, and have enjoyed it immensely. Unlike some threads where I can almost predict exactly what I am going to see before I even look, this one is a surprise every time. There is an eclectic mix of humor, moodiness, beauty, and just plain ol' artistic insanity. I love it! Keep up the good work wanimal. I appreciate your spirit and talent.

those people who criticize your artistic work , do criticize history, and the happening in the world how it really is , those are blind sheeps for me at least who are too afraid to open their eyes. you have a special gift of seeing this bad stuff happening in the world and showing it through your art . often when i open this sketchbook its like a hit in the face , it gives me stuff to think about . much better than a hyperrealistic ultradetailed dungeon demon wich i see here every day. also love your photographs , one thing i´ll never foget is the fleshmask i´ve seen here, very inspiring!

Hmm, I think that's the first painting I've seen in this sketchbook that's actually quite 'shocking'...I guess it's showing rape in a sense, almost like coke bottle is a reference for something else that's more crude as it were...perhaps a kind of metaphore?
As a woman, that's how I view it anyway. Men would probably view it as being far less, how should I put it...threatening to look at?

You must use a digital camera with a very high MegaPixal, because the detail in the insect photographs is amazing. I do wonder where you find all of these creatures!
