Jason, it was so cool to have you show up the day NightFall was released to show us the new work. The favorite tip from the class was how often you change the brush tilt. Gorgeous work!

Kekai, thank you so much for coming in showing us your process! The favorite tip was how often you copy, flip, and merge the image layer to keep adding texture. You never know what an impact you are having on future game artists.

Holy hell...This is some of the coolest stuff I've ever seen. So much amazing art. Dougbot, I must've saved at least half of the images you posted. Your creature designs are incredible. And M.C. Barrett, those "torment hub" pictures are amazing.

Just curious, are all these designs being used in the game? Speaking of production and deadlines.... do you thumbnail roughs before going to these finalize looking pieces? Or you just create finals like these and present them for possible directions? I will assume that you are fast in producing these paintings?

For myself, I usually deliver a huge round of roughs for feedback to make sure they are going in the right direction. This phase of going back and forth on the roughs usually takes the longest. Then move onto finalizing the approved design.

All in all, there is alot of care and effort put into these and it shows. Thanks for the kick in the ass,
