so much stuff dud! haha very nice work! first thing that comes to mind tho is consistency: you have some good stuff and then some great stuff. figure out what makes them great and refine your style, right now is very broad, which can be good and bad, just saying keep it up.

its a never ending self discovery journey! just keep trying to push it!

    I... I love fat people.
    I mean, your drawings.
    Of fat people.
I'm not insinuating in any way that you are obese. but, if you are, that's ok too.
    updates plz.

Sorry people, I've been in a transition state, no actual computer, no actual internet, and no workplace; I'm currently loaning one to get this post, and some more bothersome things done besides ~ hopefully once my new computer arrives (it's over a week late due to the post screwing up) I'll be a regular yet again.

& if you see me online, it's probably only because my parents have my old computer, and I got CA among my homepage tabs.

Anyway since I had so much spare time on my hands, I decided to put on some pen, crayon & paper sketches, and the last digital creations I've made before I was unplugged.

Paper archive external link, as I don't want to upload 400 sketches over here.
note, especially in my nov-jan archive how I constantly place the eyes in my no-ref/no-constructive faces too far up, and front - makes for some really flat people. I'm still not over it, but I'm working on the glitch (it shows more in paper sketches, as I usually know I fucked up, and will just move eyes later in digital pieces).

bunny well I love to draw fat, but no I'm thin; I even exercise daily
& again, sorry about the lack of updates!

    Prophet Thanks!

paperX Well if I stopped posting because of a 1 star poster I'd be scary emo, wouldn't I?
Don't worry, I'm actually surprised over the few voting trolls CA have & thanks.

Mirrows Thanks, though I consider my self a drooling toddler with the pen

    maxetormer thanks

ronaldK I have this lunacy going on, that I don't want to be trample the same ground, so I'll try to rework how I work on good days (if you look at my archive the winter period is much of the same, same faults, same sharp points and so on, and I had that consistency because I had no motivation and everything felt like shit) & I post most of my mistakes here as well, so some stuff I know is real bad & Thanks.

    Brendan N thanks & yes

DanielC Thanks, and as for Brenda, yes - it's a loose SP

mrgrumble Over a week, I hope my archive makes up for it, but sorry

Beautiful stuff Dan, I love the hand gestures, and my favorite is that elephant on the barstool. Have you ever seen Henrich Kley's work?? You might like it.

Hand studies - beautiful. I love how your brush strokes convey movement and energy so well. The ladies are great too. Their neck/shoulders are a little off in some of your sketches, but, eh, they're sketches

    Keep it commin'

Your characters are coming along nicely. Thanks for uploading those lightings on the shapes, I might try a few studies from those. Always a pleasure to see how much work youve been putting in, gives me a kick up the backside!

you need to tell me your secret to 34-hour days. you look like you're having fun. the digi sketch of the hot chick with the sword is super ace. especially love the twist in her hips. mind explaining the last one with the black and white hands/transforming bird/thing?
by the way, your mom looks almost exactly like my mother, except my mom has died red hair. (assuming the woman in those photos is mom).

    Hey Dan,

Thanks for the kind words in my SB.
You have a great variety of work and studies in here. The anatomy work is what i love to see. Keep it up.
My favorite concept, at the moment, has to be the cute and angry. I love it. Something endearing about the dripping sweet with a spicy kick. Funny.

    Good stuff.
