Hey dude, you rock, can´t add much to Sickbrush ´post. I love how you play with plain colors and the way they become rendered areas. The cloth details in the last CHOW are super nice. Can´t wait to see new things!

Awesome design! Love your rendering, kept so simple but works perfectly. I wish I could learn to stop rendering! haha
Sickbrush put it perfectly, I can see the confidence in your pieces so keep it up!

Cool stuff here Dan - I like the way you're contrasting those bulky forms with the smaller features.

Love your work, just keep it up! The things I like most are the funny ones, people use to fall in the "cold" work when they get 'pro' - or just to a higher level -, but you are still funny.

    IMO you shouldn't lose this.

    Congrats!

Fantastic creatures, and the latest skteches have a more soft rendering!, I like it!

    DANKA
Thanks - and I mostly use Sai 1.1 English, but I've changed the process a bit as of late so that's why the pieces are getting softer.

    Fetsch
Thanks, and np it was a pleasure ~

    Zarquino
Thanks, and I hope not, even if I need to learn to put it away sometimes.

    Zimzibar
Thanks and yeah I try to keep the pieces rich in colour - too much sometimes but ~

    AndrewLey
Thanks - and for highlighting something I think I've learnt to do some time ago but in part have forgotten (automated).

Thanks, the creatures do work rather well - now for people and envos ~

Thanks, and yeag SB said it well ~

    Ricardo Robles
Thanks for the words and for making me drop over to your SB - had missed out. & yeah about SBs post, and welcome back ~

    Sickbrush
I actually counted the strokes on the bird after - 10 I think (perhaps 11) - I should do birds more often ~
& I agree about doing more atmosphere and better/realistic lightnig and pull away a bit from the current style I have, did so more of old but have pushed hard at getting up the readability you described and have moved away from it, perhaps too much - I'll take you up on that for my next pieces & thanks as always.

    GEB
My Latest ChoW is doing the colour muddle thing, but you can always remedy it later (I just think that if I don't paint with colour & value I often end up going bland as well - but dunno).
    & thanks.

WIP for the latest ChoW - going so so, need to fix a few things and I was a bit sloppy with it.

A slightly updated version of the ChoW - I still have some stuff I want to sort out with it, but at least the one here and the one from the ChoW thread feels close enough to what I wanted.
