Hey slug, you might get a kick out of playing around with http://www.gapminder.org/
It's the same program he's using there, he made it a couple of years ago. It uses the UN's data/statistics, and allows you to put anything on either axis, then plot it through time.

^This is related to the ideology of that Jason Fried talk. I found it more agreeable, macroscopic and fundamentally more interesting.

Again, thank you!. I'm not really into business, but I enjoyed some parts of the talk, that's why I posted it. Your talk was better. Anyways Tedtalks are really cool.
This is one of my favs:
I looked for the name of the guy Dawkins mentioned but I couldn't found it, so Dawkins gets the citation until I find it.
