I don't know if this will cheer anyone else up...but it cheered me up.
I found this old game concept that a friend and I made in 1991 (I was 12 years old). I'll post them as links, because they are pretty big.

It's *all* bad, trust me...but it's funny how a 12 yr. old artist's brain works. For example, pretty much everything reads like a Nintendo Power (which was my life!)

Aw that would be cute! or keep the graphics as they are. How cool is Nintendo though? Gives some much needed faith in large organisations.

Oh yeah, they absolutely did. I actually make games for Nintendo, too (not employed by them, but as a 3rd party developer).

And I'd totally make a flash game about it if I didn't already have a million other projects going on.
