some minor minor observations up tho:
- your newest alla prima- more expressive this time round, but i'd look at framing the face with darker tones, at least to give some info for the viewer, but nice colours and tones
- and yer recent life drawings- dayum! more solid lines ya got
~anyways, minor, minor stuff, but you're progressing damn well these past few weeks- hope you can get a free weekend one of these days for another sketchmeet, until then, be seein ya soon in ghost's plein air meet!

PieMonster thank you man =D im really enjoying your pencil work =)
Rabbi Satan thank you matte! its seems that even with straight lines, the human eye has the tendency to curve them somehow, like filling the gaps, power of suggestion i guess ..
surrealitycheck hey purdie, the boy genius! practice makes perfection, draw when you get the time =)

awesome life drawings Callops!! when you are beginning to start a drawing, do you normally draw the lines first or do you throw some values down first? they look very nice man.

Fuuuuuck~i see confidence in the charcoal! great work sirs! I'm inspired to start on several new pencil sketchbooks after seeing how strong your recent stuff is- keep on happy paintin!
as for your new sb- super textured is better actually, maybe ease a little on the pressure, and layer it slowly like what Alex does in his bust study
Update soon? Yeah, but ya know my style, my sb will probably be bumped with 10 extra pages (hint: a huge pile of life drawings on my desk and studio =P )

Wow dude. Really loving the pencil work, and the charcoal is killer! You've got such a nice way with form that kind of says everything to me. Is that the willow stuff you've used for the recent drawings? I've subbed so I can see you strive for my viewng pleasure, not just that, but I really despise your talent!
More!
NickyBeatsv thank you =) well depends, but usually when im doing the figures without the background i go straight for the lines
Aberzheim thank matte! haha true you always update 10 pages at the time =) cant even imagine how much work you gotta have by now
0blivionisathand thank you so much =)

Really ace stuff Callops, your life drawings and paintings are getting reeeal sweet.
Not much to crit other than maybe spend 2 minutes throwing in a couple details with a smaller brush on your paintings. The big strokes look a bit too much for the little areas like around the mouth and nose.
Looking sooo good otherwise, subscribed for sure! Keep it up.
absolutely love the monster dude. and that portrait is very nice. pastels are HELL to art with. i hate them so much, but this makes me wonder if i never really gave them a chance.
your "charcoal touch" is always very inspiring. ;]
