really love your style, hope to achieve something in that direction someday. great leChuck on the earlier pages! dig the sculpts, too.

what i would like to crit on your paintings: the characters seem somehow pasted into the environment. maybe because the figures have outlines and the landscapes don't. now in some paintings that looks good, in some it seems a little odd.

great improvement, too! keep on workin!

Good point! You are right about the lines.I should add lines to the background too or delete the lines of all the painting, characters included...jummm...hard to choose!

Unbelievable how you have tamed your style and now you do whatever you want with it. Amazing evolution since the last time I dropped by. the bust is a bloody awesome sculpture man.

some proportion issues on this last one - upper arms too long and the head's a little too big, esp. with the neck size.

Yeah, the arms are a little bit too long, the head is enormous and the legs are too thin, and look at that little dog´s head!Just enormous!XD Have in mind that this is just a cartoon character.I tend to exagerate some proportions and features to make it more adorable and stylized (does this word exist?XD),so proportions are not my main focus on these little guys!

Really awesome work! I just started getting ink dip pens and brushes myself this year too! Though your first practice goes at it are far more beautiful than mine. Great work all around in here, i dig your stylized works very much. Can't wait for more! Keep it up!

oh,i totally understand that. i think the dog's fine, and the girl's head might work aswell, but with the neck that thick it just looks too unintentional. possibly a little too far on the left aswell (the head i mean).

I really love the roughness of your brush strokes on those portraits (also incredibly jealous of your values). It's not something you see often (:

My first time with Zbrush. Really hard to use,I feel frustrated the most of the time, but is terribly addictive!!! This is a WIP of some kind of Old Tribal Giant.

Hahaha, yeah, first thing I made EVER! Well, first I tried the brushes over a simple sphere, nothing serious! Actually the workflow with Zbrush is very similar to what you do using traditional media,so I feel kind of comfortable using it but a little bit frustrated sometimes because of the tons of different options that the software brings me and I don´t understand!!!!
My goal now is try to master it to be able to sculpt whatever I imagine!!!

I like the last piece you posted, but I think that the guy in the far left of the image sticks out to much because his colours don't seem to mach the rest of the image.
