Enti- Wow girl, I really wish you could have been at the workshop. One of these days, eh? But thanx for the earlier compliments, I know its been a little while, you will have to scroll up to be like..."what the fuck did I say again?" Lol ;P

Razorb- Hay many thanx! I am absolultley shocked when people tell me that I inspire them...hahaha, but totally happy at the same time.

Daref- Yeah, one of these days I am going to do a graphic novel.

MattGamer- Wow thank you so much! I know I am really bad about the upkeep in here, *slaps own cheek*, that'll need to change. I take the Icon reference as a total compliment, as she is a definate force to reckon with. I am glad I have a fan! hahahaha...that makes one for the list!! To answer your question, I work in SF as a sketch artist for a design firm. Its pretty much freelance right now. Until I make it big...any day now.

    Nileshdafe- Hay thanx!

Flaskpost- Woot Woot!! Yay stars! hahahaha...thanxx man!

Poise- hahahaha...you dork! well now you know, so I expect you to come back in here frequently!! or else!

So...Wow...Wtf happened??? Ever since the holidays started, it's just been a blur. Well, I have some Insomania sketches here, and a few from when I got stuck in the city cause I missed my BART train. I was hanging out in a 24 hour diner and a few coffee houses. Lol...what a doof. Anyways, I truley did get my brain melted, here's the proof...

wow... great sketches. What kind of pen are you using? (I know, even If I buy one I won't be able to draw like that, but I'm dreaming to do so )
just had a look at your website... Hope we get to see some paintings in here soon.

Love the Insomnia sketches. especially the one of the girl with the Fan. I imagine you sketch pretty quickly with small strokes, at least that's what it looks like from the drawings.

    Yay! An update!!!
I know, I wish I could have been at the workshop too, it would have been great to meet you and all of the other girls and hang out... hopefully somewhere in the (pretty much) near future I'll be in a situation that allows me to attend one. And maybe then I won't suck so much at spoken English and will be able to actually communicate

Anyway, on to your sketches. I really like them all. A lot
Your strokes are wonderful, so expressive. The girl with the fan is my favorite, I love how you did that top part of her dress. The hands are also great, specially the bigger one on top.
How big is the sketchbook you're working on there?

Hope to see more of these soon!

your brush pen stuff has a nice delicate flow to the lines...but it still 'tight' enough to easily distinguish the shapes

Wow! Christine, there is a beautiful grace and elegance to the way you draw. It reminds me of all the old poster art (around the 1920's) to which I am a fan of! Of course this has it's own wonderful flavor! But I love it! Just let me know when you post more...or I could always subscribe! ;p

edit: Congratulations on making itto the Atelier!!! I'm so proud!!!! XD

Beautiful sketches! I know everyone's already mentioned it, but your ink lines and forms are really nice. Especially love the way you've handled the woman's corset (in the reclining study) - you can really feel the light coming off the fabric.
