McFarlane Toys: Dragons 5 concept art

I hope this is the appropriate section to post an update.

I'm Jin Han, and a while back I posted some of my concept sketches for McFarlane Toys' Dragons. That was Series 3. Since then, Series 4 has hit retail shelves, and they've announced the lineup for Series 5 & 6.

Well, now I'm back with more concept work that went into the McFarlane Toys' Dragons line, Series 4 and 5.

Here's a peek at an unused concept for the Fire Clan Dragon. And you can see the rest on my website: www.DrawJinDraw.com

In addition to that, I've continued to work with Orson Scott Card and his online magazine, The Intergalactic Medicine Show. Here are some previews of the illustrations I've done for Mr. Card that are new to my site.

And these two are from the newest issue of The Intergalactic Medicine Show. The first is a preview of a short story written by Orson Scott Card. From the Ender's Game Saga, Cheater, the story of Hot Soup (Han Tzu)

    That's all for now!

CA.org looks like it's been busier than ever! I know I don't participate much, but, like always, there is some really great work being posted. It's especially nice to see a lot of newcomers producing some amazing stuff!

    Thanks for looking, everyone!

My wallet just cringed... very single one in Series 5 is a keeper! I like the shift to showing the dragons in more interactive poses too. I know I'll be dropping some cash to get them and add them to colletion I've amassed in my office! I just hope the paint job doesn't turn out bad. Series 4 was an improvement from Series 3. For some reason there was this nasty yellowish tint in all the colors which really made many of the dragons dull and ugly.
