    dinosaurs are cooL!

that last one looks very good, nice compositon, nice everything!

aboutthe colors, i know i'm no expert, but try getting rid of the lines completely to avoid the "color by numbers" effect, use big brushes to scupt form without using lines, but value contrast.

    keep 'em cominG!

    ciao

    Bolo - Thanks!
Gnoll - Thanks for the painting tip; it will be hard for me to think without lines...but I'll experiment
Dan - Heh thanks; I'll mess with some more...
OBX - Looking forward to it

Couple doodles with the wacom; trying to get used to just drawing straight onto it; don't know if I really like it yet.

that cowboy just looks drunk and dirty not too dead (and watch out for the hands pose.
Really like the wacom drawings, your style is strong. To explain what i mean with "ditch" the lines, look at your "sketch2" in post 424...instead of using lines to separate the muscles, you use shadows and lights (in chunks) to define the form.
Awww i'm definately not the right guy to explain this. But do check out one ca's vieo tuts, like Jason Chan or Noxismad, really cool n quite cheap stuff

    keep 'em coming!

(pssst, still waiting for that script of yours )

Your art reminds me ALOT of Kweli's. (check him out on DA if you like)

The only suggestion I have is to watch your colours. Sometimes the choices you make completely overtake the lineart.

    Hope to see more. Lats

Checked out Kweli's stuff; supafun line work. I should mess with tribal/graffiti designs again...
Thanks for the tip on the colors; I've been trying to mute my pallet more lately.

Some pages; I have a 5-issue horror story scripted, and the first issue is thumbnailed/sketched into PS. I'm seeing how it turns out when I just draw everything straight into PS. Pip-pip. I could REALLY use one of those tablet PC screen things. One day...

Nice style man, i really like your linework, it has a rough and brutal feeling to it that really stands out. I think you should try to give your coloring this feeling too, at this point your coloring looks very calm and and blurred. If it was rougher, i think it would look very nice with your lines.

Buckster; thanks man! There are plenty more pages to do when eventuality rolls around...
Blaz; thanks for the kind words!
Carbono; thanks for the tips. I'm always looking for tips on color; I've only really started using it, and Photoshop, over the last year. Sounds like the rough application would go well with what the Gnoll was talking about a few posts up.

I'm only about 15% sure about the bloody stuff. Methinks I'll experiment some more.

It does seem like a zombie comic, but it'll turn out to be much different

I'll get on msn soon to talk about a script, yes indeed.

    Dumptastic

    I just got a new hardrive. Whooptie-tit.

    The Inciting Incident is semi-complete.
I will have to go in and fix a couple things for consistency's sake, but boo hiss. I'll do it when I'm not dog-tired.

I won't be posting things quite so often for the next few weeks or so; I'm moving to Austin. Yay! Kick ass.

Gnoll - Hellblazer's one of my favorites! And the stars are aligned for Austin.
jdeegz - Heh sorry man, I'm too accustomed to the warm weather down here - can't wait to see what you do with PS.
Sketch - Thanks! I want to Do Comics For A Living one day; I was mainly going for storytelling with these latest...but I still have to go in and fix quite a few annoying little things.
