Sorry about the previous TRIPLE post. The whole ca update thing resulted in several "fatal memory errors."

The latest paint is very nice, though I must agree with Archipeligo about the helmet. I also have trouble figuring out what's what on the left side. Keep at it, though, because these just keep getting better.

Thanks everybody ! I really appreciate the support and comments, but to be honest there are no bad person, motherfucker or whatever gets through your mind while reading all this. There's only misconception and misinformation. I'm not angry at anyone and i don't care who's right or who's wrong. Funkshion aside, you have no good reason to discuss about all this instead of drawing. I'm not your dad to tell you what you have to do, and even less when you've been drawing all day. But my point is, all this is pretty pointless when you know that, as i stated in my previous post, i will not change my habit and objective for any reason, any.
This is the last update before a long long time. I'm getting tired of updating and I need some time alone. If you look for some inspiration, there are plenty of other great artists on the board posting stuff.

alone time is good. hell that's why i stopped posting here! so take some time to really dig, expect this weekend when we OC.

i never thought i'd say this but that shadow core on the chair is amazing haha.

Cool sketches man. values are looking good. I like your digi stuff, you can really feel the forms in your work. Only crit, skintones look a bit dead mainly due to the lack of saturation in the midtones. Check out Prom's small tut on skin: http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm (click on "skintones")

Keep it up, and have a good break from CA. I know I could use it too.

I've been following this thread for awhile, not sure if i've ever posted in here. Just wanted to say that it's cool to see you stick to your guns and figure things out. We all need breaks every once in awhile. With that said, I hope to see even more bad-ass-ery in the future.

people shouldnt really stand up for daniel that much...
He's on top of the ladder here, one of the best artists, and he knows that.

Is only good that people dare to give him crits and stuff. He should be glad to get some, because theres hardly anyone that can still get him to a higher level, he is not getting a lot of useable advice on here... And because most people just lick his ass in hope for a reply in their own sketchbook or something.

just let the guy talk for himself, and make good art. he'll be wise enough to pick up the hints he needs

But I love ur stuff and I dont care if it has any influence of wes marko, andrew or whoever! I think it's not a bad thing if it has because that's what's this community about! Help each other to get better and to influence each other and take what u like and make it ur ownstyle!

Just wanted to say that I'm lovin the sketchbook man. Goin through it slowly from the beginning, on page 13 now, and it's just great to see the different techniques and expand my own mind from it. Love it all, and like the others, hope to see you come back.

Hey Daniel,
I know what you mean about taking time out for yourself. Sorta in and out for the same phase, myself. Sometimes, it means shutting off all access to let new stuff and old ideas incubate in an undiluted brew for awhile.
Will be watching out for your re-appearance!
