Shit man your studies are nice, really nice smooth lines. Just wondering how youre using them though, im also working through that _great_ book myself and As nice as his boxes are i sometimes find them a tad confusing, also im stupid and i find his writing a little too much to read.
Still, lurve the stuff![]()
Daniel, The amount of effort and quality your studies reflecthas such a positive affect on many, including me. It's wonderful to see this dedication with your anatomy work. Keep it up and I want to ask: What eventually do you want to do with all this knowledge?

Dile: thanks alot ! Life drawing on the way then =)
Jackwhat: lol, thanks!! Reading his side notes are facultative. The main goal is to understand and to be able to redraw what you've just learned. So don't worry, unless you're really lazy..which i doubt of.
Aztecfireflower: thank you, i'm glad i'm inspiring someone else with those studies, and i'm not even done with them.
As for your question, simply to be able to do whatever i want whenever i want. I also noticed that a strong anatomy knowledge is often required to be a concept artist in most of the devellopement teams. And, also, because i'm kindof young and that habits are hard to get rid of when they're caught early. So i'm trying to learn all those proportions and shapes as soon as possible =)
More pics will come soon.. just wanted to answer to the question. ^^
Wow those are some really tight and controlled line work. All the values flow into the next. Keep posting.
Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!

I was told I'd receive a kick in the ass(motivation to draw) from checking out your sb so here I am. Damn dude, the improvement I've seen here could only come from a lot of hard work. Your pencils are wonderful and the rendering is very tight. Really liking the Hogarth studies, started on those myself but fell off. I better get back to it lol. Looking forward to more man.
i like that upper hand! big time's.
awesome studys from hogarth! once again.
keep doing that shite!!
kick ace drawings! keep em coming!

Thank you very very much everyone for the suppor .
I got myslef into trouble. replies will come later.
Nice one! great sketch book man!
cool sketches and studies.
Be careful about using hogarth though, for dynamic poses and foreshortening he is great, but unless you plan on having exaggerated stylised muscles( think comic books), I would advise using your own knowledge of muscles+ hogarth pose.
in other words, correct muscles+hogarth=win
line quality and rendering is looking good, watch the elbows and the arm movements.
btw, mins brushes work for ps vs 7.
Btw, you up to OC?
looking good")

Real good! One observation - the flesh on and around the nose is usually a tad darker than the rest of the face. Think if you follow through on this it'll give your faces more punch, just a thought though.
Blanq - Hogarth draws all the muscles stressed, it's easy to just "unstress" them where needed. Life drawing helps

Wow...the last one is a mind blower. The rendering on that bad boy is awesome. I hope you finish that one and get a chance to post it in FF so everyone can die of amazement! Great concept here but I would take a closer look at the arm b/c to me it seems a bit out of proportion (or maybe the angle of the arm is throwing me off?)
K, Mickey may say the stiffness is bad but I actually like it - seriously. Some poses just work better all stiffened up and awkward. So yeah, the wierdness of his pose is something I really dig. My only crit now is the deltoid/bicep/pectoralis major area where the musculature looks dodgy - no biggy and easily fixed.
Keep grinding man, you're really coming through - and more colour!
