Great studies, your feel for the human form is really developing awesomely, great use of opposing curves. Forms read very well, even in the line drawings...

mmm, now I feel like studying hehe

Oma: thanks man ! I gotta post the crit in you sb... i'm running late

Maxetormer: thanks for the tip =).
    Here's the ref:

    Click for bigger... hehe
    Thanks for the comment !!

light: lol... i feel the same way when i'm watching your sb. Thanks !

brendan: glad i inspired you. thank you !

Gnoll: hehe thanks for the support mate. Rendering is just a matter of patience and time. So stay for a few more minutes than usual and you'll easily get a nice smooth render =)

Missed a couple of updates. But i didn't feel like drawing these days.... probably because of my bycicle.... riding it for hours with my brother and some friends while watching the nice angry beach hehe
Just some hogarth stuff...Feels nice to fill my brain with all those things.

    I hate repeating myself....

Dude the hatching in these last is really cool I think. I know it's kinda rushed, but it's a bit more lively now I think. See what you can do with it in your own artwork as well!

I'm kinda making sure that each morning I wake up and before I go off to college that I come here, to 'sketchbook alley' for my daily sermon, hahahahaha

I love it all, everything that I see. I started going to art college not because I wanted to be an artist 'dugh!!!' but for their 3D modeling course, and I got more than I dared ever hope.

I never knew that in art it was ok to be so individualistic and self expressionate. wow, I'll tell you what, the number of people chained to an office desk and drowining under the sands of time waiting and wishing for the week to end before they can go drown their sorrows is unamazing.

Its a necessity, but, I wonder how many of them are doodling on a post it note that ends up in a bin? I'm glad that I found art, and slowly will free my hands and mind and come out to play.

To think I used to think that paint packages were boring? Hahahahahahhhaha what you guys have shown me rocks, there are a lot of 'happy feet' people in here and I love it.

Keep up the show, I'm getting more pop corn so I'll be back soon

what can i say man, just keep going the way your going.

with the colour study, i assume you were only taking the reference as a base and not trying to copy it exactly as you ignored the perspective and shifted the arm. but one thing from looking at the ref that i noticed is that the light is actually a little yellow which should be helpful for enforcing the sense of light. i think if you are going to revisit the piece, attend to the values again just to get the darks back, you lost them a little wile you were blending (it happens ). in the photo the shadows are a little grey but i think if you wanted to exaggerate just a little you could give them the slightest touch of purple just to keep them alive. however yours is a little purple at the moment so perhaps just alter the rest to be more yellow??? i would block in the bikini too just so it registers in your mind.

anyway, like i said just keep going!!!!
