Your figures from post #11 and the speedpaint from #24 show a lot of improvement in your drawing. I would suggest more anatomy studies, your figures are getting a little stiff...in particular your women. You really see it when you paint in the figure. But overall nice job and keep posting! Cheers!

your vehicle concept work seems like your strongest area at the moment although i really like your anatomy work. I can see u look at alot of reference for your female studies. A trick someone showed me to help bring it in to my work is to look at it in a book or where ever, study your figure, then shut the book and try to draw it. It will help you find what to loook for as well as keep you from becoming a slave to the reference. So many people, including myself become so focused on making their drawing look so much like the reference that they forget to loosen up and get creative. This technique helps with that. Good job on everything! Keep up the good work.
Some stuff from tonight. The carrousel doesnt look verry stable, but like the "little slyl"e on it. About stability. hu!

Wow! Pretty amazing stuff you have in here!
I really like your faces you give your characters.
I also think you have good lady drawings on here.
Maybe you should try making some kind of creature.
I would like to see that.

Hey Deodatus,
Seeing all these great character concepts, I think it's awsome to have you as a teacher. Looking forward to the character build classes! Nice work,
Stijn 1dae6
Although it's been done before, I really like the head through the computer pic. Nice work so far! I would suggest doing some studies of the male figure too.

I like it... People point out that anatomy could be better... Yeah, I guess it could, but it's all very comic book-style, and that's not so important in your works... As a Belgium guy you should be familiar with Rosinski's and Van-Hamme's comic book about Thorgal... There are often mistakes in what he does but still it's bloody amazing!
Also great design, fantastic imagination, breathtaking style, and a lot of vaginas. What's there not to like?
Visit Grim Reaper's Dark Art Sketchbook:

Some more studies about proportions, shadows and stuff.
Grim Reaper; Thx, I do a lot of studies and hope to improve fast this year, will putt a lot of updates on this tread. Want to get the anatomy better, even for comic-style. This forum is a good motivation.
And yea, I have every thorgal there is. I like; Gimenez (metabarons), Don Lawrence (storm), Yslaire (Samber), Loisel (Peter Pan) and my big favorite is Enki Bilal! Everybody should check those guys out, they are amazing!
