Interesting little idea, think the top middle one turned out pretty good, despite the hand being cut off, you could have just made it a three fingered hand. Anyways, keep the updates coming mate. Ciao.

Yeah, neat idea for the logo, there's something inherently disturbing about seein a three fingered human hand. Anyway, these lines show a lot of great confidence, like you're really commiting to the line you put down. Keep up that attitude and hands will become your favorite thing to draw, they're such fun shapes.
Just keep pluggin away, draw every day all the time and you'll see you stuff blow up.
Also, I hadn't seen that ratemedrawing site before, that's damn cool.

SO todays update is anotehr watercolor peice, it sucks I know but I learned some valuable lessons I think I now have more confidence whitl working with watercolors. in the comig days you might see more updates.and yeadh , do keep checking out the blog.

hey man nice update!! I reckon you should'nt let digital colouring worry you too much...its easier with a tablet..from what i can see u do with watercolours, you'll get the hang of it in no time

I like the newest piece, just one thing tho...dont neglect the hands and feet. no matter the outcome, a challenge will always help you improve

yeah i shoudlnt ignore painting hands and feet .heres a new peice I did.Looks quite fancy but it scuks in basics i know.bah man I need to bet better.

I'm a nub, and still learning, so maybe I'm just saying bull stuff...

I like your last painting. The figure's got a good, relaxed posture. Quite natural. Can't say anything about the color either.

About the only thing I'd say is, (probably it's just me), but I thought maybe you should have painted out the thing she's supposed to be semi-leaning on? haha.

To give, I don't know, a sense of grounding?

Edit:
I think the term I was looking for was depth. Foreground/background kinda stuff.

Hey Bhanu I can't remember the last time I get to browse your SB .

I reckon you've got no problem getting the form and the details right (as seen in your crow pic), so if you were to keep doing studies on drawing the face and the figure, you should be proficient with it in no time.

sorry for not dropping in here often enough, I just swamped with work. You are making excellent progress, the crow looks absolutely great and the watercolours are getting better each time.
Think you should do some more studies and spend more time on a piece here and there - like with the crow.

so the updates lineowrk for a watercolor piece. the anatomy is kinda wobbly and so are the proportions. I will try to correct it before proceeding to coloring.

Man, just saw this one on three fingers, it's rockin man.
Think the anatomy isn;t half as bad as you think.
Some issues with the head connecting to the neck, some tiny part of the arm and the abdomen, but other than that I don't really see any mistakes. Plus the comp is kinda doing it for you.

hey man nice start, i tried to fix the arm a little according my opinion (which i think isn't that dependable ), see what u think

should have really left this job for the pros

your best bet is to get someone to pose for u in that position and see what it really should look like

Brenman-thanks for pointing out the mistakes I corrected them. I will post the watercolors tomorrow. Right now I am in a hurry so just some watercolor , marker SPs.
PaperX-thanks for the crit man , really appreciate it but can you do corrections with different colored lines. So I could see where all I made the msitakes and draw over would do great .

PaperX-wow comparing mw with Daniel hmmm, man hes mcuh better and also our styles are very different. Umm yeah the scan is bad. I will reuploda the pcis after I get my digicam. Hoipe it looks better then.
SO update for today(althouh a pretty bad scan) lost in desrt ,I am tryig to finish stuff now. It feels like an accomplishment that I nearly finished this.Last night was a slump for me. the value control was goinh haywire.
Still I want to give some texture to sand but dont know how to go about it. hmm lets see.
and eyah CA is agian acting crazy, is it just happening to me?

so I agian went in a slump yesterday. Tones were gettign harder and the figures werent coming out the way I wated . So I did and hour long master study (michaelangelo).I want to put down confident strokes and also to have a better hand and eye coordintaion so I tried to get the lines right in the first attempt , that is no erasing or rubbing I used the eraser to make highlights. I should study a lot more man.

anyways just some crits cuz i want to be of some help rather than just the usual "keep up with the great updates"

in the michaelangelo study, remember to shade with the form of the body, eg his left thigh looks sorta flat cuz you shaded i just in one direction, some curvy lines following the shape of the thigh could be more effective there.

anyhow, the long studies are good and will help you improve, keep it up
