man you're just pumping these out! sorry I'm not that familiar with painter either since I mostly use photoshop, the level of brush customisation in painter is definitely a beast.

    keep it up man!

Heres some shit I did today, I gots my funk period, so I just started fucking around with painter, yknow testing different tools, it is fun I tell ya, but is it better than geting dirty with paint? Its better not to compare

    GLOW

a bad ,overworked pic I know, but it took me out of my artistic block atleast( and at the end of it I could feel like I was getting a hold of it). Oh and my hands are hurting using the tablet, but thats another matter

bloody awesome, love how you treated the lighting, for figure in GLOW, the abdominal area and the legs seem kinda disconnected from the upper torso though?

btw, sorry I haven't been using painter much so I dont really know any good brushes to suggest but if you meant for photoshop then here's some brush packs I use:

M@'s, Jamie Jones, zhuzhu's is nice too, linran's and whit's tool presets

if you want I can link you to them

haha, damn these last ones are awesome bhanu, the rendering of the skin is just delightful, and the expressive characters you have shown before is just right to these.

nice development of it as well - in 898 it seemed way to monochromatic, compared to these, and it got closer in 900, but then in the first on this page, and much of the following it's bloody great!

& sorry for being a bit unresponsive since 2007 or more, I drone away and loose touch ~ always feel slightly guilty when I see you pop up in the gmail client, well I have that with too many people.

That reminds me, since you first wrote in my SB, and I visited yours - the strides you have done are inspiring.

PaperX- Thanks, I liked the lighting in GLOW too, but overall the piece lack power as I feel there are too many tangent-like forms which really bring an unneccesary white noise to the image. yeah the torso and legs do seem detached from the rest of the figure, the legs were intentional, but the torso is a mistake, its rather badly painted too.

I would be glad to have a few links for the photoshop brushes(I havent really tried photoshop, its just too massive).
    Thanks brother

Dan Liimatta- hah, Its been such a long time!!!!!!! I guess we both have been guilty of not keeping in touch, lets rectify that eh? WOuld love to chat ya up shortly.
thanks I am feeling braver with the tablet at hand, hmmm I hope I dont abuse it to make something kitschy or fake shit. Thank you for coming again brother, yknow your skills were also helpful to me, I was so envious, I told myself I have to push myself and work like this guy.
    Thanks

hey man i am loving the distorted bodies and how they are all stretched. I think if you can push that, and keep the form liquidy and really strong, that could be really interesting. they already are cool and unique though, so keep up the good work!!

The one were they're fackin (the one were we see the guy's ass) is great, you should keep it in a safe place.
The other thing that I love, is the colors, the palette that you use has a great style. People so often abuse saturated colors that I'm incline to hate them, but some people is there to remind us that if use well they can be at the top of your list

    THanks a lot guys,
Chris- Thanks to you bro, I just found this awesome artist, thanks bro, you are a true homie.
Lennon- Thanks man, well the thing about saturation is that dont let the power of a color get to you, it has to get to the viewer, its like emotions, they should not dictate the way of the artist. Thats where many people lose the plot. I dont know how good I am with colors, but I like to dictate over my works. Thanks a lot brother
Parsakoira-Thank you dear for thinking me impressive.

Bahahaha, that painting made me laugh. Really digging the way you've been rendering form and mass, I just figured out you're the one behind all those wicked goofy graff looking characters, those dudes are awesome. Keep it up, of course I probably don't have to say that.

good to see you had your show man, nice work! the baby one is great, haha! I think you figures have this unique stance or gesture which is what I like about it. I think one thing you could look at trying to experiment with is varying the edges. The great part about using a black background is that you can add some darker tones on some parts of form to make them recede more than others, so you can play with varying it quite a lot around the whole thing. Cheers!!
